I enjoyed everything, except for the fact that the morning pastry at the restaurant was dry like it had been sitting around for 2 or 3 days. I decided to pop into the Starbucks down the street instead, where the food was fresh.

Easy to walk anywhere and everywhere. Bottled water always available. Staff was very helpful with one exception. A young man with bleached blond hair at the front desk seemed a bit bored and dismissive when asked a question. That’s okay. The young women at the desk made up for him.

Hotel is well situated with a 5min walk to subway, and 15min walk to Millenium Park. The room is clean and comfortable with all the usual stuff you need. Bed and pillows are not super comfortable but ok. The heater makes a loud noise when it turns on, sounds like someone is at the door which was annoying at night. Staff are great! Helpful and available. There is no room service, but the resto in lobby has great coffee! Didn’t try the food there but looks good from the menu.

Desk clerks unhelpful and rude
Desk staff was rude. Valet couldn't be found and when asking for service, clerk argued that valet was out there. She herself went out and couldn't find them. She insisted that we leave our car running, and come back for ticket after valet was found. Didnt agree and she got even more rude. Horrible customer service.
