It was clean and convenient for our needs. I just thought it was weird that I had to provide my daughter's ID as well as my own upon check-in.

The room is in bad shape--the light switch didn't turn on the light. The plug near the bed was too loose, wouldn't hold my phone charger. Bathroom plug didn't work too well either. Only one plug in the entire room functioned well. Clearly the room had clearly flooded at some point and the pressed-wood furniture had been compromised; now the sawdust is disintegrating onto the floor. The mattress is hard. But it's cheap, which was my main requirement. It was clean enough, the bed was not great but OK, the shower worked well enough to get clean. The TV worked. I wouldn't recommend it unless a cheap basic hotel with ZERO frills is all you want. The whole experience was a bit rough.

I wish they had hangars. It was confusing about the hangars as it was an updated room and I wasn’t made aware to bring my own. Usually at Motel 6’s they have their own specialized ones. I also checked out a night early and they said it would make no difference in price.

I was very unhappy about how unclean the room was. Under the bed was totally disgusting with dead bugs and dust and hair balls. I can't imagine the floor was mopped or even possibly vacuumed. The television controlled settings had made it so it was so very dark the TV was barely visible. Lastly, I had 1 more day paid, And the clientele beat on the door 3 times waking me up telling me to get out.

The property and the staff were terrible, we found hair in the bathroom and the towels were dirty, when we asked for a room change the staff told us that we can either stay in that room or find something else.

Room smelt like dirty mop water all weekend, loud facilities and other guests. TV had adaptive brightness so the picture would constantly fade in and out. Towel was dirty, AC was dirty and the curtain/blinds were broken.

I needed emergency overnight near O'Hare without breaking the bank, and Motel 6 got it done. Clean enough. TV service out. I wouldn't stay here again bc of (1) overpowering smell of insecticide; (2) loud noise of jets overhead at late/early hours. I could've handled #2 if I hadn't had to have the windows open for #1. Also note: NOT easily accessible by public transit. Ride services cost me $25 out, $20 back, even though it's right outside the O'Hare fences.

I saw the reviews before making this booking and thought - it can't be that bad. It is that bad. Very run down facilities. My room was super dirty (floors, hair, surfaces not cleaned) and the manager on duty was extremely unhelpful. I suspect she is quite jaded in her role. No where to store luggage, no cart to carry luggage made for a poor experience. Only pluses - bed was comfy, close to airport.
