Upon checking in we found that we hadn't been assigned a room yet, that each of the corner view rooms were still getting cleaned. 90 minutes at the bar we decided to leave and walk to one of the local eating spots. As we did we finally got the call the room was ready. However, once we got back and picked up the keys, got into our room we found a surprise. Proseco and cheesecake to celebrate our anniversary. The service team was listening to us and gaging our needs the whole time. It would have been nice to check in as normal, but rhey found a way to make it special.

Had an amazing time! The hotel was very nice, the staff was friendly and the hotel restaurant was very good. Our room had a balcony with great views of the city. I would definitely recommend if you are visiting from out of town or just want a staycation in the city.

lovely hotel, close to millenium park
the rooms are fab, beautiful building and friendly staff. just a few things to consider if you’re traveling with elder folks: hotel staff are not allowed to print off boarding passes for you. just a little thing but that’s the type of thing that gives my beloved elder some extra stress.

Vanessa B at check-in went above and beyond for us... After we had checked in. We originally didn't get the room we asked for from the first person that checked us in. When we went to desk for something else later- she remembered us from check-in and fixed our room issue and took extra time with us. She is the best!!!!

Fire department next door gave me no sleep.
The hotel is beautiful. The room was spacious and nicely appointed. However, due to the fire station located immediately adjacent to the hotel and the noise, I was unable to sleep. They had numerous call all night long. The wind noise from outside was very intrusive. Considering what I paid for the room, my expectations were higher. My expectations were not met.

They charged unused minibars. Worst of all, they keep ignoring me and never responded no matter how many times I contacted them. It made me very sad. When considering this hotel, you should carefully take the above into account in your decision.

Quiet away from traffic. Room cleanliness poor, windows need cleaning. No chairs for dirty balconies. Cannot use fridge for personal items have to request additional noisy temp. Outside pool closed during my stay, no word of this whilst booking. Jacuzzi broken. Did not get the room I booked, lower standard so had to complain which is poor.
