We booked a family room, which has a great layout. Our first room smelled of smoke, and when I went to report it to the front desk (to avoid a fine lest they think we smoked in it) they were happy to move us to the one other family room still available, which, we took. It was noticably fresher. The space is wonderful, but carries the challenge of the one ac unit being unable to cool the loft space with the king bed. It was almost too hot to sleep upstairs. This would probably be remedies if the unit had been turned on before we arrived at 9pm. If you're doing six flags for the day, check in early and start your AC so it's cool when you're ready to be in the room for the night. Otherwise, for the price paid, the condition and cleanliness were about what you'd expect. Run down and some dingy and questionable spots on walls and floors, but sheets were clean. No extra security measures- the chain lock was missing. Some units are used for long-term housing. Very nice man living next door to the room we stayed in, but also a drunk man swearing the next door down as we left.
