I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with our recent stay at Sonder Market Hall. The hotel was nothing close to what it was advertised as. There were several issues with the room's amenities, including malfunctioning entry code mechanisms and low-quality appliances. In addition, we could hear fights and concerning noises all night including a possible break in to the room. The hotel room was unfinished, didn't look anything like the pictures on the website, and was not in good condition. There was lots of dust and stains, and the bathrooms were dirty. Overall, it was a truly bad experience. We will never stay at this hotel again.

Over all I’ll give it a 4 it wasn’t perfect but it was close to it! I did read the google reviews regarding how NOSEY the building is but luckily I didn’t have those issues because we were on the 5th floor. The issue is since this an apartment building and not a hotel I received a text that I was being to loud this building is LOFT style your going to hear ppl unfortunately I didn’t like a 2:30am text from management about the noise when multiple reviews state the same thing. You would have to be silent or whisper for ppl not to hear you so yeah book at your own risk! I loved the location it was a 4min drive to the united center I booked it for that reason alone me and my BF attended the usher concert but besides a concert or an event at the united center I wouldn't stay here! The parking on Randolph is free if your get there early enough so I did pay an extra $30 to check in at 2pm to insure I found a park which it was like 6spots left when I arrived. So either your going to be bothered by noise or you noise level will bother someone else!

Was a great stay. Amazing location to the train and walkable to west loop. The staff through the app were very responsive. It was a little loud for 24 hours and AC wasn’t working great. They drop off a fan and got the neighbors to be quiet. No complaints at all.

The location is good. The soundproofing is poor.
The location is quiet and close to the station. However, I could hear the person next door making phone calls from 6am. I don't know if the room was soundproof or if they were talking loudly.

Very clean and comfortable room! Beds were warm, pillows were lovely. While our stay was quite short so we didnt get to make full use of the room, the kitchenette was a great surprise in the event that we would have cooked here. We especially loved the shower toiletries (very gentle smell and made our hair feel very nice).

Self service property. You would think with the savings made by removing any on-site staff and outsourcing support to other countries these savings might flow through to room rate but no, Look it was fine. Not super homey but clean and neat. Just understand that the process for getting an issues rectified is significantly more complex than if you can pop down to the to front desk. and whatever you do DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PHONE IN THE ROOM unless you memorized the six digit access code

The apartment we were located in was opposite side of the mime and noise was very minimal. I slept well and wasn’t woken up by the noise. The room came with a sound machine that came in handy but overall stay and room was very nice.

The area was quiet during the day but lively at night. The rooms are directly above a nightclub. I felt safe in and immediately around the property. There are plenty of restaurants nearby but grocery stores are a little farther. The room itself was very spacious and clean. The kitchen appliances worked great. The air-conditioning worked fine and so did the washer and dryer combo. Try to get a room on an upper floor if you are a light sleeper. The walls are pretty thin and the building is right behind the elevated train so if ambient noise is an issue you may want to bring or use their provided earplugs. I was initially booked in room on a lower floor and requested a room on a higher floor. Their in app customer service was very responsive and was able to get me room on an upper floor on the second day of my stay. All of my interactions with the property through the app were immediate and helpful.
