This is a great hotel with unbelievably good location right in the heart of Chicago. We enjoyed everything from amazingly clean rooms and great service. The only thing to improve is the availability of spa (which is currently renovated) otherwise it was awesome

It was just okay. It was expensive and the room was okay, small, and the bed was just okay as well. The rooftop was closed all weekend for private parties and service in downstairs restaurant was really poor. I spent close to $800 for two nights on the room and it was not worth it.

We purposefully stayed there for the rooftop only to be told that there was a private party that would end at 12 we comeback at 12 just to be told the rooftop was closing. If they would have told us at 11 when we went that it was going to be closed for the night after the party we could have done something else.

Nice stay in the heart of the loop
Great location in the city. Very clean and comfortable. Was a bit of a line to check in, and only one desk agent was available at one point. Received my key cards for my room, took the elevator up to the 20th floor, and wouldn’t you know it, the keycards did not work. Left my husband upstairs with the luggage, had to trek all the was back to the lobby. Line was even longer. Not the best start. Overall our stay was good. Comfortable quiet corner room with excellent view of State Street and the Chicago River. Large soaking bathtub.

Nice hotel but beware for loud 26th floor rooms
The hotel staff was great and we loved the hotel, until we tried to go to sleep. We were on the 26th floor and had no idea that there was a club on the floor directly above us. Not only was it loud, the wall behind our beds was vibrating from the music. I did text the hotel on the message thread they were texting from and they said sorry, it closes at 2am. Well from 11-2 we had to suck it up. Getting up early the next morning to do a 9 hour drive with no sleep was not fun. I wish they would have told us at check in that there was a club above us or made that room cheaper since you could not sleep.

I was a little bummed there are no microwaves in rooms or anywhere in the building to heat your food , valet parking is extremely expensive, my kids where having a good time playing in room laughing and joking at 6:00 pm when concierge came knocking saying we making to much noise , restroom door broken , shower head broken , tv remote didn’t work , called for batteries no showed up
