I booked the deluxe room which for 8 dollars more in total had a small fridge and a microwave. The location is great, in front of Grant Park and very close to train and buses across the road. The property was very clean. However it is an ok Hotel so the rooms are not pretty at all, but in my case it saved me money compared to other places, and I spent most of the time exploring the city, so it worked out pretty good.

The place clearly hasn’t been updated in a long time, it’s good enough in a pinch but nothing I would do again if I have options. I had a towel that had some sort of blue stain on it and the shower was just gross — little black pieces on the floor of the shower were falling into the drain when I went to start the shower. I will say that its location was definitely a positive. Only a 10ish minute walk to see Cloud Gate, with lots of good restaurants and close metro access.

The cleaning staff were amazing. Overall, a pretty good hotel at a nice location. The property itself is pretty old, could use some improvements. Also please add fridges to the rooms.

This is an older building but the room was comfy and the hotel is located very close to downtown and just very close to Michigan avenue for access to the park and the walk by the lake. It is conveniently very close by the Harrison red line subway stop and a few minutes walk to the subway loop. So it is a great value for the location. You trade a bit in terms of how new the room and facilities are but since we were visiting Chicago the entire day and evening, it was a great place to crash for sleeping.

There were no bed bugs and that is half the battle. I chose this place primarily for the location. The bathtub faucet ran while the shower ran. It wasn't amazing, but it wasn't a terrible room. If you just want to sleep somewhere, this is the spot for you.

The hotel room was awful, stained carpet, sofa and furniture was in bad condition. Poor throughout the ceiling, window units hardly worked. We checked out in a matter of minutes.
