The first person when we checked in was not very polite or helpful when we asked questions about check in/out, parking etc. she charged us an extra $25 to check in early despite our confirmation email saying check in was 3:00 and that was when we arrived. however, the manager on duty was amazing. She was very nice, polite and helpful. She made sure we knew where parking was and remedied the $25 right of way. The room was great, it was clean and comfortable. The views were all around amazing. We for sure would stay at this hotel again.

This is my first visit to Chicago, and I had planned this trip for several months to celebrate my best friend's birthday. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations, as I found the staff and overall cleanliness of the hotel to be unsatisfactory. As a paying guest, I have decided that I will not be staying at this hotel in the future.

We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed the hotel’s proximity to the Chicago River Walk and downtown. The staff were friendly and the rooms were very clean. Some bonuses were the cold and bubbly water machine and the in room Nespresso machine.

The hotel was really good and clean, location was perfect. The only reason I gave 4 stars there was no microwave in the room and had to go downstairs to warm milk for the baby, it was annoying at night, parking was very expensive we didn’t except to pay $60 per day, other than that everything was very good. I recommend it.

The room was beautiful. I had a small issue with the TV not working (because they just updated the system). The engineer came promptly and was so nice but they had to move me to another room. The new room was a huge upgrade. So wonderful.

1. You should know this hotel coexists with a Holiday Inn and that may be fine or a dealbreaker for you. 2. I lost my phone in an Uber and it was hotel staff who helped me contact Uber driver and get my phone back to me. Incredible. 3. Friendly and efficient check-in. 4. We loved our stay at Voco! Our room was a skyline view room and was on the 21st floor north-facing with an incredible view of the skyline with the Sears Tower and a little bit of the lake! Check-in and getting up to our room was easy, and the hotel looked sleek and approachable. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was nice, the room was very modern and clean. Thank you for a great stay!
