At the Chaber Aparthotel, we had a large clean room. The breakfast buffets were very nice and satisfying. The odd thing was that your rarely saw any staff around. If we needed anything, we were to telephone someone to make the request. However, there were no phones in the entire place, not in our room or anywhere in the common areas. For some reason, our cell phones weren't working so we were unable to contact the staff. Luckily we were able to knock on the locked front door for another guest to open and let us in. Then we requested this guest to please call the Manager to come and give us a key for our room. Thankful for the kindness of strangers. The other odd thing was that we only got one towel and one hand towel per person. The Aparthotel has a policy of not cleaning the rooms or replacing the towels but once every four days of stay. We didn't know this until after we came back to our room from touring on the second day of our three night stay. I found this policy written in small print of page five of the guest book that was written in Polish. No phones, no communication, no towels.
