Don’t be deceived by Motel exterior - Lovely Room
Rose was very helpful when we arrived as needed to drop luggage early before returning our car to the airport. The room was lovely. Very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Everything we needed for our stay and convenient for the city. Would recommend and we will be back next time in Christchurch.

Hot water use would result in a loud pump going definitely on its last leg, otherwise in a good area central to everything and the room layout is quite classic

The impression I got was that the owners are not interested in either their motel or the comfort of their guests. It was freezing cold 1 celsius one morning but all they had on the beds was a thin bedspread type cover, not a duvet or blankets. The TV had only a few channels, no Netflix or youtube. There was no pressure in the bathroom hot water tap and the shower floor was dangerous and slippery, an accident waiting to happen. The unit could be made so much better and inviting, sadly a complete disappointment.

People friendly and service great. Traffic noise from main road to be expected, I guess but was more than I had thought it would be with boy racers up and down Bealey Ave. Internet connection was not secure

We stayed in a first-floor unit on the Bealey Avenue frontage. Traffic noise and street lighting were disturbing. Double glazing and adequate blinds and curtains would fix this problem.

Property was very convenient with a variety of places to eat and drink close by. An easy walkable distance, 15mins, to central shopping and dining, the food market is a must, every conceivable range of food is there, amazing. All of this was recommended by the owners who were so friendly and welcoming
