Hey, we get it! Your boss is on your back and you need a break, right? So why not take some annual leave and journey around the marvellous forests, mountains and active volcanos of West Java. Just book your flight to Cikakak and go from there.

It's located 85 kilometres to the southwest of Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia.

Look out for shiny seashells to add to your collection at home or try to spot small animals like starfish and crabs at Ujung Genteng Beach and Pangumbahan Beach. You'll find these delightful pieces of coastline 55 kilometres and 50 kilometres away, respectively.

You won't have to be stuck in a car all day to witness a bit of nature around these parts. Just 20 kilometres out of Cikakak, Gunung Halimun National Park is a wonderful place to enjoy some fresh air. More picturesque surrounds await at Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park, 50 kilometres away.
