Booked a room with a single king bed. Checked the reservation multiple times. The day we checked in, we went up to the room, and there were 2 queen beds. Went back downstairs to talk with the deskclerk, and were told that the hotel was overbooked and they didnt have a room with a king bed. When I said, but we reserved a room with a king bed, and the choice to overbood was a hotel choice, not a 'me' issue. I was told 'that being hostile would not change my situation'. Deskclerk then told that they would discount my room. When I went to checkout, I was told by that deskclerk, that since I had booked through Expedia that the hotel could not do any discounts. I was then informed that the hotel had not charged me for my parking on the last 2 days I was there. Which would be nice except, due to a snow storm, they kept the parking garage gates up for those two days already. So long story short, bad service, excuses for their screw up, no real discout to correct the situation. The only positive thing I can say was the matress wasn't horrible. Nothing about my stay screamed good service though. I would not stay there again. The whole experience was somewhat sour.
