The property is located in the heart of the Cotswold Water Parks, constructed in a New Hampshire style, two story, open plan on the ground floor with 3 bedrooms upstairs and newly refurbished bathrooms on each floor.
All the furniture, kitchen, kitchen appliances, utensils, beds, towels and linens are brand new for 2019.
COVID CLEANING... please be assured we take the health and well-being of our guests with upmost importance, that is why we have gone beyond the increased cleaning/santising regime proposed by letting Agents and have undertaken to 'dry fog' the entire property between lets with an anti viral biocide, a similar process undertaken by airlines, schools, hospitals and large Hotel chains, to ensure all surfaces, including textile surfaces, sofas, carpets, etc receive anti viral treatment.
We invite all to the lodge, to enjoy an abundance of leisure activities right on your doorstep, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and at the end of the day, when you are ready to come back to your lodge, you will find all the facilities you would expect of a modern rental property and enjoy the large, South facing private patio deck, overlooking the lake, just perfect for winding down into the sunset.
The open plan ground floor has a newly fitted modern kitchen, fully fitted with quality appliances including oven and hob, fridge freezer, washing machine dishwasher and microwave. The kitchen is very well equipped for a comfortable self-catering holiday.
The large open plan lounge/diner has almost an entire wall of double glazed panes offering uninterrupted views out onto the lake with large patio doors leading onto a large private deck with two small steps down to the water’s edge. Both inside and outside living areas comfortably accommodate five adults, with outdoor furniture for alfresco drinks and meals. There is a flat screen 55" ‘Smart’ TV with wireless internet connection for Netflix etc.
Recently fitted is an eco friendly wood burning pellet stove, with electronic ignition and self cleaning function (no dirty hands !) and self maintaining thermostatic temperature control to ensure a comfortable living space.
The lodge has a downstairs shower room with wc and hand basin as well as a newly refurbished upstairs bathroom with a large shower, bath, wc and hand basin.
The master bedroom has a large picture window with great views overlooking the lake, new King bed, loads of hanging space and a 32" Smart tv with free Netflix.
The double bedroom, overlooks the front of the property, with views over a sailing lake, has a new comfortable 4’6” double bed and mattress. There is limited walking space around the bed but plenty of storage drawer space.
The twin bedroom, also with views over the sailing lake has a new comfortable full size single bed with another 3’ single stored underneath which pulls out to the same height. The room is versatile and can be set up as a large single, twin or double bedroom. Please note, when not set as a single, room space is limited.
This room has a 32" flat screen Smart tv for streaming free Netflix.
The Lodge is set in well-tended communal gardens, the Spring Lake site has a Brasserie bar and restaurant, a large enclosed timber play area for children, a 10pmh speed limit for vehicles and private security patrols.

We will be as attentive or distant as you choose, we have prepared a comprehensive guest folder with all the information we feel may be useful to you and provide contact details for my 2 house mangers, who will happy attend the property should the need arise.

Out and about you will discover the Cotswold Water Parks is an amazing place, more that 150 lakes over an area of more than 40 miles, with a huge diversity of leisure activities available for all ages to enjoy. On the water you can hire boats, canoeing/kayaking, inflatable rides, sailing, swimming, wake boarding, windsurfing and water skiing. For the keen fishermen there are some fantastic surrounding lakes, such as Bradley's lake which is often seen on popular Youtube videos. On land there is angling, archery, fabulous bird watching opportunities, cycling routes, walking routes, horse riding, paintballing, rally driving, golf, picnic sites and nature reserves.

By car (recommended):
From M4 or the South - Leave the M4 at Junction 15 (Swindon) and head North on the A419 for about 14 miles. Take the B4696 signposted Ashton Keynes / South Cerney / Cerney wick. Take the first left at the roundabout onto the Spine Road East. Follow this for just over half a mile, passing Isis / Windrush Lakes on your right and The Four Pillars Hotel on your left. After passing Summer Lake on your left, take the next right (Station Road), signposted for South Cerney, the Lakeside and the Watermark. After a few hundred meters, take the first left into the development, when through the gates follow the road around to the right, 68 Spring Lake is about 100 meters on the left.
From the M5 or North – Leave the M5 southbound at junction 11A onto the A417. Take the third exit at the roundabout after a few miles continuing on the A417. Stay on the A417 / A419 for 15 miles passing Cirencester. Leave the A419 following signs for South Cerney and the Cotswold Water Park. Head right over the flyover and straight on at the second roundabout following signs for the Watermark and Cotswold Water Park. Follow this road (Spine Road East) for just over half a mile, passing Isis / Windrush Lakes on your right and The Four Pillars Hotel on your left. After passing Summer Lake on your left, take the next right (Station Road), signposted for South Cerney, the Lakeside and the Watermark. After a few hundred meters, take the first left into the development and turn right when through the gates. Follow the road around to the right, 68 Spring Lake is about 100 meters on the left.
The Lodge has one allocated parking space close to the lodge, with plenty of additional parking available close by on a first come basis.
One set of bed linens, tea towels and towels for indoor use are provided for the duration of your stay, addition linen and towel changes can be arranged for an additional charge.
Changeover days are flexible, the minimum booking is 3 nights except bookings between July and September when the minimum is 5 nights unless advertised differently.
Our guest information folder contains all the information you will need about the property and appliances, directions to shops and supermarkets, petrol stations and cash machines etc. and our recommendations for pubs, restaurants and places to visit. We are happy to provide our mobile numbers to answer any queries you may have and have a nominated occupier on Spring Lake who can attend the property should the need arise.
Arrival time is after 4.00pm and departure time by 10.00am, we may be able to negotiate these times, dependent on other same day bookings, it might be possible to arrange an earlier check in or later check out at no extra charge. Access is via a key safe, therefore it does not matter if you are arriving late at night.
