It's located 85 kilometres southwest of the capital of Indonesia, Jakarta.

Spend a few hours relaxing on the shore and collecting shells by the water's edge at Ujung Genteng Beach or Pangumbahan Beach.

Head out into the fresh air and appreciate the natural beauty of Gunung Halimun National Park. It lies 20 kilometres away from Cisolok. You can also find more peace and quiet at Mount Bunder, 45 kilometres away.

We recommend hopping in the car and finding your way to Tjimadja. It's some 10 kilometres to the south and the home of Pelabuhan Ratu Port and Pelabuhan Ratu Great Mosque.

Bogor, 50 kilometres to the northeast, may be worthy of a day trip. Use it as a port of call when swinging by Botani Square, the Bogor Botanical Garden and the Bogor Agriculture University. If you'd like more convincing, other close by attractions include Bogor Presidental Palace and the Bogot Raya Country Club.
