The customer service was excellent. We were greeted with a friendly smile and conversation every day. The location also was close to the port and the train station for easy access. We would highly recommend this place to our friends and if we go back would stay again.

Wow. WOW. Small 5 bedroom. B&B. Owner met us outside. Took our luggage upstairs to our floor. Recommendations for restaurants. Breakfast was incredible.

Absolute Gem

La Casa sul Mare is an absolute gem! We booked 1 night prior to our cruise through Hotels.com. I cannot say enough great things about our stay and the hosts. Loris the owner and Ambra the hostess are both amazing. 10 stars!!!! So personable, friendly and helpful. Loris communicated through the app prior to arrival and arranged a car from the airport as well as transportation to the cruise port. They also gave us great restaurant recommendations and local attractions to see. Our room and private bath were spotless. Our room had a lovely balcony with sea view. We ate breakfast on the balcony! There is a nice common room with coffee, tea, filtered water and snacks. Walking distance to many great cafes and restaurants. I cant recommend this enough, and we would stay again. Other note, located on 3rd floor of a building with offices, other B&B and apartments. Elevator available. AC. Secure entry. They helped us with our bags

STUNNING! If you are contemplating where to stay in Civitavecchia for a cruise or visiting, just book la casa sul mare. Amazing location and gorgeous views. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon before boarding our 2nd cruise and we absolutely loved it. Clean, safe, and very homey, but also feels luxurious. It is central to everything - really good restaurants, supermarkets, and the seaside. We also did laundry before our 2nd cruise nearby which was super helpful. Very convenient location to get to the ship and everywhere else. The owner and manager were super friendly and helpful (also speak multiple languages). They are very passionate about the city and very kind. Highly recommend. Great experience.

The owners were fantastic, Friendly and helpful. The room clean and well appointed. The bathroom was private but accross the hall. A bit different but we adjusted. Close to the water front. A nice breakfast included. They helped us with transportation to the pier for our cruise the next morning. Loris carried our luggage up to our room and brought it back down when we left. We appreciated his strength!

My wife and I have stayed at La Casa Sul Mare on four occasions and yet again this property has met our high expectations. Loris and Ambra make us feel so welcome. The property is immaculately clean and well equipped. Breakfast is a feast and really sets us up for the day. The property location is the best, with sea views and overlooking the main promenade. Yet again, I find myself recommending this property without reservation.

Our experience clearly exceeded expectations. Loris, Rita, and Ambra are perfection when it comes to warm and welcoming hospitality, with no detail left unattended to. They made us feel like family, and they made the Casa feel like home to us throughout our stay. Not to mention the added perks like a complimentary early check-in and room upgrade, and the most incredible homemade pistachio cream dessert I've ever tasted! We will most definitely be back next time we cruise in or out of Civitavecchia... the team has more than earned our loyalty and admiration. Excellent execution across all aspects of our stay.
