It was so bad. I was only able to stay one night. There is pubic hair in the bathtub in the bathtub was black. The room was very dirty and the parking was unsafe. I really think I should be able to get a refund because I had to get a different room in a different hotel

Great shuttle service but our room was so dirty ! Window looking out was discustingly dirty. Table in room was so unstable someone could get hurt . Bed spread on bed dirty and shower tub was stained and dirty . Did not sleep well , room run down ! No complimentary coffee but they did hand out warm chocolate chip cookies .

Convenient to walk to venues. Front desk staff welcoming. Our room had lots of gnats and room was not cleaned the next day. Mentioned this at check out and they comped the first night. Was not expecting this but a very nice gesture.

Moldy smell mingled with strong bleach odor in the first room we looked at. Door keys didn’t work in the second room we tried. Never did get in. After several tries the key opened the door to the third room. We were greeted by stained carpet, a running stool, faulty lamps, you get the idea. The staff tried but had little to work with.

Was a bit disappointed at how run down the rooms were . Was expecting things to be cleaner and more updated . Carpets in the hallways were very stained . Elevators were very dirty . Our room was not cleaned very well . Expected more from a Hilton hotel. Stained bedding , cabinets that hadn’t been cleaned in ages and glass that looked like it was wiped with a dirty cloth . The bathroom had mold in the grout and there was splatters all the walls that have never been wiped away .

Cainan was great, he tried to make our stay awesome. Not his fault that this hotel is literally way outdated, bathroom had wall paper peeling off. Floors in hallway and rooms filthy and old. The lobby area had a chemical smell that was very uninviting. We are older, had to park on the 3rd floor and walk steps to and from our car as the elevator is broke. Also, killed a huge spider in our room. We stayed 2 nights, cost was total for 2 nights for 2 adults

The garage elevator was out of order, would have been nice to let guests know when entering so that they could let passengers & baggage out before parking (on the 4th floor) and having to juggle everything and the stairs. I have a disc issue and have difficulty & pain with stairs - thank you for that! Cockroach infested room (805) but the staff easily moved us (405) although it didn't make me feel better. I slept with every light on & didn't fall asleep until after 4a, just too worried that bugs would crawl across the bed! The hallways, rooms, elevators were FILTHY! Dirt along the edges of corridors, elevators, behind dressers and the bed! Carpets were stained. The the bed comforter (between 2 dingy sheets) was grayish yellow, dirty and smelled! That came off the bed immediately! The bed skirt was visibly stained with God know what! The fridge was frozen over and surprised one could shut the door & only one set of towels in both rooms! Do the staff think people will share after showering??? We obviously left after grabbing a quick coffee & bagel, choosing to shower at home! If Cleveland as a whole would have not been booked with mutiple concerts and sporting events and our arrival had been earlier, I would have gone to another hotel but I was unable to find a room at another hotel on such short notice! I will NEVER stay at Double Tree and will post this review on FACEBOOK in an effort to have this shared so people can avoid this sub-par hotel!

Overall good. No shampoo in wall dispenser, and open shower was a bit slippery in front of the sink as water didn't stay in the shower area. All staff we encountered at lobby and breakfast were so nice and helpful!

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I can’t believe Hilton allows its name to be attached to this eye sore. The entire hotel had a rank smell. It hasn’t been unkept or renovated since the mid 1980’s. The entire hotel looked like it was falling apart. The blanket on the bed was stained. The shower walls were peeling. My sheets were even stained. The elevator in the parking garage was out of service. I could go on but it’s not worth it. I would recommend anyone to NEVER stay here. Be warned.
