This motel is a great stop with an amazing view out your window. It is a close drive to Gaspe, but away from all the crowds. We seen a whale in the morning and lots of seals swimming by with their heads bobbing. The owners are very welcoming and warm people and will help with any of your questions.
Very clean and quiet ,well located right by the water with excellent scenery, rooms could use a refresh.****Beware***the restaurant in the main building opens@ 8 and closes when ever they want....we were refused breakfast @950am.....be ready to go fo a drive if they don’t want to serve you!,
Supper was good...although you would thing that being by the water and close to fishing docks they would use fresh not frisent fish .....
The owner was very welcoming. She made the family feel at home. The lodging facility was clean, homely, and had a touch of country-uniqueness. A very good escape from your standard hotel room accommodation.
Now the best part - the food! Food prepared in the restaurant was nothing short of GOURMET. My wife and I had for appetiser, some grilled bourgots (whelks) which are local to the region, followed by grilled trout and cod. The kids also enjoyed their dishes. For dessert, please make sure to try the Pouding Chomeur (poor man’s pudding) - it is an incredible delight, quite ironic to its name.
Thank you madam for the great hospitality.
This quiet motel is on the coast, on a fine day one can sit on the lawn and just enjoy the peacefulness. The room was comfortable and one could sit outside. The restaurant was small but unique with a good choice on the menu, plus specials of the day. If it was low tide one could walk along the beach. The staff was very friendly although her english was minimal, as was y French, we could understand each other.
Great location and amazing view from the back yard.
The staff is very unwelcoming... No AC in the rooms!... the place (reception) shuts down at 8pm and no one there to assist you with any problem\need. A simple request like an additional towel will be declined.
You will get only the basic, no more.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Photo on website shows charming older historical building, but rooms are actually in a separate motel building, which is not air conditioned and is painted dark brown, so it was very hot. Only one window opened, so couldn't get a cross breeze. The restaurant was closed for breakfast. Beautiful area and view. Parking was very close so easy to move in and out. Room was quiet, but I could feel neighbors walking by the vibration on my floor. Fee for wifi.
This is an amazing, qui.et and restful place, a long drive from anywhere on the Gaspe peninsular. The rooms are clean and well equipped, with a lovely light feel to them. Set by the coast you can take a walk along the beach and scramble on the rocks where a British ship wrecked over 200 years ago.
The best bit though is the restaurant, the food is lovely, prepared on site and just great.

Staff was great we only had breakfast it was very good
Remote, peaceful, French, friendly, beautiful scenery, i loved sitting close to the water just outside our room watching sea birds and even saw a couple of Dolphins rising from the sea.
Lovely breakfast.
Comfortable room,
It’s a long way up the peninsula but worth the drive - totally - ideal place to stay prior to hitting Gaspesie and Formillon National Park or afterwards. Enjoy! You will
Comfortable room, excellent food, whales and seals offshore, eagles. Relaxing 2 day rest stop, very good grocer 6 km up the road for all your needs. Room had no fridge which would be nice.
The motel room was very basic, but very clean. The restaurant and service were outstanding. The package with room, dinner and breakfast was an incredible deal and the dinner was one of the outstanding dining experiences of our trip.
