A trip back in time
The cottage was dated but adequately equipped and comfortable. Above all, it was located in a special location, very relevant to my past. I hope to be able to visit again in the future.

Great location - close to Sawtell beach
We enjoyed our stay at Sawtell Cottage. It’s a great location near the beach and the owner is very responsive and lovely to deal with. We did have hot weather and the air conditioner did struggle to cool the house. The cottage could do with a coffee machine, but other than that we had everything we needed

Don't recommend the facility - cleanliness unsatisfactory
No tea, coffee or milk on arrival; kitchen crockery not clean, and required cleaning before use; foodstuff in cutlery drawers; evidence of cockroaches in kitchen and front room; toaster tray not clean; front room - curtains are too long, and rest onto floor - trip/fall hazard, one curtain rod not safely supported; 2 orange chairs require repair before they break; vacuum cleaner FULL and required a significant clean before it could be used - filter very dirty too and needs a regular wash; one drawer under TV set is broken. Bed and linen was okay.

Chilli Festival 🌶️
This quaint little home was perfect for our fleeting visit for the Sawtell Chilli Festival! The location was perfect, walking distance to the beach and to grab a coffee. We drove to the festival, which was only a few minute drive from the property. Everything at the home was perfect and suited our needs. We will be back. Thanks Jo ♥️

Cute Cottage close to beach
Close to town for cafes and restaurants. Short walk to the beach which is dog friendly Cottage was fully fenced and perfect for our social lab to say hello to everyone who walked past Everything we needed was available - all cooking equipment and coffee plunger Close to Toormina for grocery shopping Property manager gave tips for local venues before arrival and checked in with us on our departure Perfect!!

Cosy, convenient stay
Having never been to this part of the coast, Jo's cottage was the perfect base for us to explore the area. We loved the easy stroll to the beach to walk our dog, Hilltop cafe for our morning coffee and the choice of places to eat in Sawtell. The cottage was extremely clean and had everything we needed. It's close to supermarkets, a short drive to Coffs and within a half hour or so of Bellingen.
