Disgusting hotel. Everyone smoking on rooms. Cigarette burns in chairs and curtains . Holes in doors patched up. Dirty toilets. List goes on.

This hotel is a little further away from all the attractions. It’s an ok location if you have a car. But by foot, it’s a little too far. My only qualm about this place is that even in a non smoking room, the room still smelled like cigarette smoke and it was annoying when I was trying to sleep. Other than that this hotel satisfied my needs for the one night I spent there

The stairs were being decorated so were covered in plastic sheets and cardboard making them very dangerous to walk up and down. The rooms weren’t cleaned to an appropriate standard and we were required to move rooms as the shower door was not on correctly, we also found the beds to be very hard and uncomfortable.

ok for the cost....
hotel ok, rooms look dated, could do with repainted, smelt of cigarettes.
staff outside smoking when I wanted to check out.
Quite far from main area.
Cheap and adequate hotel, nothing special. Metz has no youth hostel, so this was the cheapest place to stay.

Basic accomodation
We spent just one night. Basic accomodation option. We commuted easily to center by our car.
Brilliantly located for motorways but terrible area. Look for french lorry cafe Chez Alex off Avenue des 2 Fontaines on internet within 4 mins walk. Rooms very average, can hear next door room, and unacceptable smell of cigs in the corridors. Wont be back
The staff were very helpful in providing secure storage for my bike, breakfast was good, the place was clean and quiet.

Poor choice on our part
Cramped, extremely tiny rooms. Barely enough space in the room to stand your suitcase. Bathroom is also very tiny, hard to have a shower it's so small. We booked late, and this looked okay on the internet. When we arrived, it was late and we were tired so no chance to change hotels. These rooms are exceptionally small! The breakfast was a very minimal affair, stale croissants, and the remainder of the items had been out for a while. Staff made no attempt to freshen or re-stock the buffet while we were there eating. One time we saw a staff member, they rushed into the back on our arrival. Really recommend choosing another hotel.
We wanted an economical stop over on our return journey from holiday. From this hotel we were able to walk the 1.9miles into the picturesque old town centre. There is a stop on the road for the modern bendy buses which seem quite frequent.
A modern hotel, good secure parking, card entry on all rooms. Rooms are compact, very clean and adequate for a stop over. TV and fast wi-fi included.
We would happily stay again as a stop-over.

Metz stop
We had a one night stay in Metz and there were very few rooms available in town. This hotel served its purpose. The hotel is basic and the room was very small with a view of the car park, but it was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was available at a small extra cost but this was standard French buffet and good value. It is a few miles from the town centre but there is a tram stop nearby and it took only 15-20 minutes to get to the centre.
Read the small print very very carefully. We got stuck in traffic for three hours and so didn't get to the hotel until after 10. When we got there the hotel compound was all locked up no reception facility and when we rang the number all we got was a phone message. Had to get another hotel at very short notice and got charged for this hotel as well.
When I booked didn't realize it was so far from city center. However Christian the manager was extremely helpful in helping me navigate the tram. He printed out a map & gave me specific directions. Also he gave me other tips to make my 3 day stay as pleasant as possible.
It was a bit difficult to find as there were a lot of road works. Reception was good room reasonably clean, beds ok. We had dinner at the hotel and it was excellent, everything from hot to cold meals and priced ok. Our waiter was excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was the best we have had on an overnight stay. Again plenty choice with lovely fresh French bread. I woould certainly recommend this hotel
We needed good, but inexpensive accommodations. We were not going to be spending much time in our room or at the hotel -- just sleeping overnight. For that usage, this is a great hotel. We had only one minor problem -- it appears that housekeeping was interrupted during the cleaning of our rooms and there were no towels when we got back. That was taken care of by the front desk. The breakfast on site seemed expensive to us, but another good alternative is only 5 minutes away.
