This property was excellent located across the street from UMD campus. There were plenty of great dining options and even a free shuttle to/from campus. Staff were very friendly to boot!

We enjoyed our stay overall. We got a good deal on Expedia, which is why we believe the value was excellent. We used the spa and it was fantastic (Essence was lovely). We were there during a tornado warning and we felt that the hotel managed the situation very well and kept everybody safe. We were impressed by the number and quality of restaurants on site. There were two small issues that we thought could be improved. The first is the pool. The water was way too cold. We didn’t go in because of how uncomfortable it would have been, which was a little upsetting because we chose this hotel particularly because it has a pool. It was a nice layout and very clean but the water was frigid. The other issue was that the walls seemed paper thin. Our room was right beside University of Maryland football players and we heard everything they had to say about everything. While they were loud and even screaming at some points, even when they were quiet and just simply laughing, we could hear everything. It became disruptive. I went to the front desk at 10:30pm and was considering asking to move rooms to avoid any confrontation and further discomfort but whoever was working mentioned that the players usually settle down right away. They did happen to do that soon after but it wasn’t a pleasant experience to go through. Overall, it was a good experience and we’d stay again but prepare for the two negative aspects discussed above. We would ask for a room away from potential noisy guests

I wanted to stay on or close to the U of MD campus as I was taking my daughter to tour as a prospective student. The location was perfect. When we opened our curtains, we had a fantastic view of the M circle and some of the campus buildings. In the lobby, there was an admissions desk as well. It was very clean and comfortable.

We arrived at 615pm for our stay, and our room was not ready, despite check in being at 4. We traveled from 4 hours away, and would have appreciated a phone call prior if our room was not going to be ready upon check in. Couches in common areas very dirty, and pool was not heated at all. My daughter and husband couldn’t swim it was that cold. No housekeeping service.
