This is an old motel. In the room there were curtains that were torn and had holes in them. The room smelled awful. We had to use room freshner everyday. There was daylight showing between the wall and the wall unit. People were hanging around in the parking lot every morning. The breakfast area was dirty and had crumbs everywhere.
The grounds around the buildings are weedy and unkept. The room was clean but furniture was very worn. Wall paint chipped and bathroom had a couple spots of mold and chipped tub and sink counter. We’ve stayed at many Days Inn but this must be the lowest quality of all. Glad we only planned to stay one night. Not at all like the pictures.
The door from the parking lot to the main hallway's latch was completely broken, did not latch properly and was propped open by the push bar nearly every time I walked in or out of the property. I informed the front desk staff of my concerns and there was minimal response by either of the two men behind the counter when we checked out.
The entire hallway and room reeked of urine, and the furniture was barely functional. I'm glad I was only here one night. I would only stay here again if it was the absolute last available option to me, and even then I would try to spend as little time there as possible. Stay 15 minutes up the road at the Manitou Springs location, or literally anywhere else if you value your personal safety, or a halfway decent hotel experience.
It was old run down and filthy. I was afraid to get into the bed. The sheets looked like they hadn't been changed since the last person. Mold around the tub. I could go on. Needless to say i will not be back.
Due to the drug activity in the parking lot we didn't even check in to this facility. Front lobby was dated and had to wait 10 minutes just for someone to show up. Called twice and it immediately went to voicemail both times. The first time I got a call back at 9pm but we were sleeping due to the long travel day and no voicemail was left. The second time I never got a call back.
The Days Inn room was dirty and old, and I returned to the front desk and asked for a refund as I could not stay overnight in that room.
I have pictures to share of the room.
This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. It smelled so bad, I found animal feces in my room! So disgusting, I asked to be moved or cancel. They ended up moving me to another room that didn’t smell but I still didn’t trust the cleanliness. I ended up buying my own sheets and pillows. There were better hotels for less in the area. They would have to knock the hotel down and rebuild it for me to stay again.
I liked leaving. The sliding glass doors have a boulder sized hole in it. They put plexiglass over it. The carpet was so dirty it was crunchy and sticky
Several holes have been punched in the walls. Sockets without covers. A on was held together with clear packing tape. The worst was the large gap around the fan above the toilet. We put toilet paper in it. Filthy walls, filthy drapes. Linens with multiple cigarette burns. The photos on the website do NOT match this place. Spend some extra money
This place sends off pay by the hour vibes.
.
Lobby stunk like mold and stale, front door damaged, artifical grass in parking lot was filthy, looked like meth addicts cleaned and maintained the facility.
Well let me start by saying staff was friendly, beds were comfy and shower felt good other than that terrible. 1st room was falling apart at the seams and i mean that literally, and not cleaned very well, hair all over bathroom floor and carpet etc. Asked for another room which was better but it rained that night and ceiling started to leak so then we went to our 3rd room and it was ok for the night. Breakfast was very limited (waffles, cereal and toast) coffee and juice was only thing offered. No pool available. Very disappointing after finding out its out of service. We unfortunately stayed here 3 nights and wont be back.

Property is very run down and in dire need of repairs and renovation. Part of the area was even taped off.
