A work in progress, great potential, needs polishing
My family was grateful we had a place to stay with comfortable beds, but aside from that the home did not meet our expectations. I had to message and call the host a few times after check in time to receive check in instructions, so got off to a rocky start. Home is in an area nearby lots of shops and main roads, which was nice. As far as the property goes, you can tell it is a work in progress.I mostly just wish this was communicated. I would not recommend kids at the home as every cabinet/drawer is full of tools and paint and nails. I found a nail in my bed actually. Many linens were stained, not minor stains either. Home was not clean, the fridge/freezer were filthy. Linens thrown in closets in balls. Upstairs bedrooms had motion sensor lights which was strange and unfortunate because if someone came upstairs the bedroom lights would go on. Several projects lying around, curtains lamps and things that are not in use just through rooms. There was no guestbook of any stores with information on the home or check in/checkout instructions. The front door had a sensor like a storefront that beeped very loud when entering and exiting. I work for a rental Management cleaning company and try to look the other way about small details because I understand things happen, but all around was not the best experience. Reached out to vbro support after the trip just to share my concerns and they felt a partial refund was appropriate. However they could not get ahold of the host.
