Not what I expected

Check in was ok. Lady was nice. One of the guys when I said hi he just stared at me put up his hand. On check in didn't feel very welcomed. Got to the room, broken door handle, door was warped, and sink would Not 🚫 drain. I told them, they asked if maintenance could go in the room, we said yes, we left to grab a bite to eat. Came back and the A/C was blowing heat. It was terrible. The maintenance came up again and couldn't fix it. Our bags had been gone thru as well while we were gone. (We set them up in a certain manner to see if anyone would) They were opened and stuff rearranged. They gave us a different room and the doors connecting each room was messed up and wouldn't lock. The pictures on their website was excellent, but not how it really was. The pool looked gross (indoor) outdoor was still closed. People came to swim but said that don't look right and left. We stayed and left in the morning.

Finding an affordable, clean and safe hotel in the Columbus area has become a real challenge over the years. I am so glad I found this hotel! It was affordable, clean and safe ... and very nice as well! I look forward to staying here again when I am in Columbus!

We were there for a soccer Tournament and this hotel was booked by our Soccer Club…. Not Us!!! The property looks OK upon first glance…. Just don’t look too close. The outside water feature has garbage in it and around it. The inside is dirty( cracks in walls, dirt built up in corners and in door ways) and the entire facility smells like weed. The hallway our room was in was hazy from the amount of weed smoke. Ridiculous. Loud rap music and yelling from a room near us all night. Broken light fixtures in hallway by elevator. The room was ok. Worn and stained carpeting. Bedding had stains on it. Mattress needs replaced badly. Breakfast buffet was not good at all. I’ve had my share of buffets at hotels and they are normally pretty ok. Not This One. Besides the very nice gentleman seating people it was terrible. I would NEVER stay here again.

The window was broken and it was so much condensation on the window, I was unable to see out of it. There was a light bulb out meaning the room light was very dim, because it wasn't enough light coming from the other lampto give accurate amount lighting. When I was taking a shower, the tub continued filling up, while I was showering and was standing in dirty water. These unnecessary situations was unacceptable for the room I reserved. I've stayed at this hotel prior befor at least five different time and never been this dissatisfied. These reasons is why I was so disappointed in my stay at your hotel I and need to be compensated monetary for the unsafe and unsanitary conditions. Thank you. Respectfully, Ms. Watseka Hill

I had specifically asked for a handicapped accessible room, with a walk in shower, not a tub. Even though the hotel was sparsely booked, my request was not honored. I will not stay there again.
