I reserved a king bed for a few nights upon entering, I found that the AC was filthy with possible mold, the light fixtures were disgusting, as well as there being a layer of grime on the walls, even though I asked for a no smoking room. Thinking that I was going to be stuck in the room, I took it upon myself to pull the blankets and sheets back Only to find on each layer, there was stains And what looked to be unchained sheets. At that Point I decided to go to the front desk and explain my situation having them come look themselves. The blame was placed on their cleaners, and I was moved into a suite. Although it was bigger and a bit better, it still had just as many problems with the main one being the bed something that I would have to have me, my husband, my 10 month old daughter on which I wasn’t OK with.
On this trip, I also had one of my friends who experience just about all of the same problems in her own room, as well as black mold around the door frame. Speaking with the attendant that was there at the moment as well as the manager that was on the phone, they tried saying it was, just dirty from the rain getting in, which obviously if it’s getting in it can lead to mold From the water seeping in, which is exactly what happened. At this point, we were uncomfortable at trying to stay here, especially since they did not hold up there Health code standards.
I also do not agree with their policy that once you check in, you can’t get a refund.
