Great place and breakfast. I do not give them 5 stars because the heater smelled like something was burning on the second night. The staff promised to give me points in the Hyatt app but never came through.

Didn’t realize our king room was like a studio! It’s was beautiful and the staff was amazing!! Unfortunately the breakfast was mid. They had a lot of options but it was bland and the potatoes were very cold. Other than the no so good breakfast it was a nice hotel!

The room was clean. The staff was really helpful. The manager did address our concerns where the building is just a little bit old. Took a little bit for the water to heat up. If the rooms are vacant, maybe about 5 to 10 minutes. But overall everything else was really nice and the manager did offer the solution of putting us in another room if it had not heated up by the time we returned with food. Overall or stay was nice. It was quiet. The rooms were very clean. Very neat. Very comfortable. The only thing is the pool is a outdoor pool and not an indoor. I was really hoping for an indoor pool however in the summer months as when it is warm, it should be a nice addition to this stay.

I had no problems with the room or with the breakfast, both were fine. It was with the check in. I always assume those waiting in line are served before people who arrive later. However, the Hyatt Place worker very clearly was going to check in the person who came in the door after me although I was already standing in line at the desk, patiently waiting. The later arrival dissipated the situation since she then stepped back and agreed for me to go first since I was in line already. I think the Hyatt Place worker needs to know that they are the first contact a customer has with the hotel and making a mistake like that is critical to a customer's impression of the hotel. I come to Columbus often since I am an OSU alum and will not stay there again.
