Hotel had paper thin walls and loud plumbing. Cleaning staff was loud in the morning, talking in the hallway and vacuuming rooms. Staff was not knowledgeable or helpful about surrounding area and events going on.

Really nice hotel for the price. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was fast and easy. The hotel food was a little expensive but that is with any hotel. The bar is great. Good drinks and really good pub food options. Parking is really expensive. That is my only complaint. Would stay there again no questions.

Such a great property for visiting OSU. Staff was amazing. Rooms very comfortable. Gym was great. They will drive you within a 3 mile radius- so great to have that as well. Will stay here for sure in the future.

There was much to love about The Blackwell! First, we love that they offered valet parking. Parking was going to be tricky for us. Second, great restaurants are just in walking distance. And third, the hotel is very beautiful. The only thing that really bothered me was the room was not as clean as I expected it to be. We noticed a bunch of old crumbs when we first walked in the room. It was almost $300 for a one night stay. With a price like that I expected it to be very clean but it wasn’t. That was one of the main reasons we booked here because we always check reviews regarding cleanliness/ former bed bug reports/ etc. We would absolutely stay here again, though! There was a lot to love.

This was a lovely place to stay! We had a converted conference room and it was stellar. The only thing I have negative to say is that the night we arrived, we had 15 minutes to order food. We did but it took a long time to get and we pucked it up. When he handed us the food, it was ice cold Not sure how it came directly from the kitchen and it was cold. However, the brunch was amazing from the other restaurant.

Great location, staff was fantastic. Courtesy car was perfect. Could not have asked for a nicer experience. Valet parking was perfect. Bartenders at hotel were friendly and polite. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay. We will be back.
