The hotel is nice looking and in a great area. There were kids running all over in the hallways but our room was very quiet still. The water with lemon was wonderful and the breakfast was pretty good. Walnut Creek was great and the neighborhood felt really safe. Would stay again.

Will not stay there again. 1. No notice that there is a $30 a day fee for (valet) parking, and valet parking is what you’re really forced to do. Even without valet, it’s costly. 2. Did not makeup (beds, trash, etc.) room. When I called down to ask, we were told that you had to reserved 24 hours in advance, which we were not told. Plus, we checked in early evening, so it was impossible to schedule. And staff was rude about it when I inquired, denying that we were not told. So they lied because had we been told we would have scheduled. At a top-flight hotel, I expect my bed to be made. So NEVER again, and do not recommend.

This property was extremely attractive. Rooms opened into the center of the complex with views down onto the restaurant and lobby. Breakfast was beyond plentiful.

the entrance/drive up area to hotel is too small- during incoming and outgoing guest times it became impossible to depart from underground parking. Cars had no where to park to check in and were blocking other cars from exiting the underground parking. It was gridlocked and those of us trying to leave hotel were stuck in parking lot (missed dinner reservations!!) Hotel also needs a back-up plan when valet service is short staffed.

I loved the beauty of the property and the lovely pool! Staff was great but I wish the cleaning spoke English. I did not like having to pay $30 a night to park especially since I didn’t see that on the website.

I reserved 3 rooms to accommodate the number of family members. I requested an early check-in (around 2 pm). One room was available at 2:30 pm, the 2nd room was available at 3:15 and the 3rd room was available at 4:05 pm (initially informed that it would not be ready until 4:30 pm and was located on a different floor). Fortunately, another room became available at 4:00 pm. We were going to a 5:00 wedding in Benicia. We opted to stay in Walnut Creek (the closest Embassy Suites to the venue in Benicia, CA). However,, I only received points for one room since I booked through Hotels.com-not directly onsite.

Great location, good amenities, lots of space. There were some items in the room which needed repair and attention: bathroom door handle fell off, there was a piece of metal bed frame in the middle sticking out too far.
