Thanksgiving stay
ideal location off freeway and across the street from large upscale shopping area with movie theatre and food I was a little surprised at the significant change in room rate for the night of Thanksgiving (extra $40) but as we were there for 4 nights total it balanced out. Also be aware of a small parking charge ($7)

Staff was super friendly, place in good conditions. I liked that it’s updated, beds are comfortable and have smart tvs, super convenient when traveling with kids to play Netflix or other app. I disliked that the area where it’s located is a little noisy, there was no extra blankets or pillows in the closet for the sofa bed, I had to walk to the reception and ask because the phones where not working. Also, shampoo, conditioners and body wash that were in the bathroom were expired, they smelled so bad that we couldn’t use it.

Nice property, nice area with a lot of options for dining and shopping. They are very stern about their 11am checkout. I asked for late checkout and was told no. Overall had a good stay, it was a very quiet hotel.

This hotel is average, but can easily drop into a lower category. I say this after observing little things that lead me to believe lack of maintenance and upkeep, beginning with shampoo dispenser broken and empty, large stain on fabric of desk stair, couch has broken spring that prevents couch from having an even sitting area. Another example was a large mud spot in elevator that was first noticed the previous evening but still there upon leaving hotel the next day. A hotel with adequate maintenance workers would have immediately cleaned the soiled elevator, not to mention repair of other issues.

I liked the gym very much. I also liked the shopping across the street. I did not like the front desk person who checked me in, she was not helpful. Lastly, there was a large cockroach in the hallway. That was unfortunate.

I’ve stayed at this property about 3 times and it is always clean and comfortable. I just wish there was a complementary breakfast or continental breakfast and coffee down where they serve the “pay for” breakfast.
