The hotel is far from all the intersting pla es for tourism, (probably it's a good place ti stay for business trabelwrs) the buffet breakfast is not good.

Nice view of the water from window. Check in fine. Did online but no point as you need a member of staff to verify document so might as well do at desk. It is a very large hotel and waiting for lifts was frustrating as people kept barging in and it took a long time (needed more organisation). It was very chaotic. Children were running up and down corridors which carried noise alarmingly (we stayed with children so it’s nothing against children). Shower had hair on floor so not very clean. Hotel shop very expensive. Three small chocolate bars cost nearly £9! Sofa bed for children was extremely uncomfortable. Nice restaurant on the water across the road from the hotel.

Decent hotel but needs some changes!

Great location, really central and by the water. Also amenities, gym/wellness and bikes were decent - but at an additional cost. Unfortunately the hotel room felt a small step up from a hostel. No water available or even a kettle for tea/coffee, pretty basics you’d expect. Even room cleaning service was not included. Towels felt thin and cheap and we had to request new ones daily. Hotels are trying too hard to be eco and losing the magic of customer experience, lush beds and warm cosy towels which feel indulgent on a city break. Plus all these self check-in screens means even less interaction with REAL people. It’s becoming so sterile and unfriendly. Sort it out Scandi!

Large, modern hotel. Regular hotel for flight crews. Over- complicated room lighting. No Air-Con- 'the ventilation system is very complicated sir- it doesn't work if you turn it down to 18 degrees.' Kettle and Fridge in room was helpful but even if you ask for the room to be cleaned daily (has to be requested) the mugs are not cleaned and coffee sachets/tea bags are not replenished. Frustrating and disappointing. Superior rooms give an entitlement to breakfast on 6th floor- less crowded and very good range of food.

This was my second time staying, but I likely won't return. The facility is new and the Scandic brand is generally a good one. The hotel is located close to Central Station and close to Tivoli. The rooms have a number of problems. First, there is a surprising amount of hallway noise which is odd given the hotel is newly constructed. Second, they need to post a sign on the wall explaining how to use the confusing light switches they installed. Third, the desk is located close to the bed and carpeting so you can't comfotably sit at it and do work unless you want the back legs of the chair elevated while you work. Oh, and the pool and recreational amenities are not available to you unless you book them in advance and pay extra. The hotel sends a welcoming letter through expedia but it isn't at all welcoming. The restaurant is nice. Although the location is convenient for my work, I'll stay elsewhere next time I'm in Copenhagen.

The negatives, because there were a few when paying almost £1200 for 4 nights Swimming Swimming is not including and not open for under 5’s. The information on booking this hotel was misleading a) the pool is the first picture on the listing, however it is a pay extra facility and only open for families at certain times of the day b) it can’t be used by under 5’s c) when I booked the listing using positive language saying (plus excludes pool) Expedia would not refund me before our travel as said it’s stated in the listing. If anyone in the UK stated plus before an exclusion, it simply wouldn’t pass. Staff Not a great greeting on arrival and lengthy queue Room We were a family of 4 staying 4 nights and didn’t have our room cleaned. You have to request 24 hours in advance. We didn’t bother but I can’t help but feel for almost £300 a night, we shouldn’t have to request this for once throughout our stay. Room was small for 4 people, kids had to share a sofa bed - one of my kids is 12, so less than ideal! The positives Location Great location right on the river and for those wanting to swim, you can in the swimming area of the river right opposite the hotel. Turned out to be much better than the hotel pool. Breakfast We were greeted each morning by a lovely man who was the best member of staff throughout our stay. The breakfast is amazing, loads of choice for all of the family. Could fill up for the whole day!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The location worked well for us—it’s a great base if you don’t mind walking. There are plenty of charming cafes and restaurants within a 15–20 minute walk, which we enjoyed exploring. That said, be prepared for a more self-service experience. Check-in and check-out are done through kiosks, and you’ll need to book room cleaning in advance if needed. It wasn’t a problem for us, but something to keep in mind if you prefer more traditional service. One thing to note is the lack of a mini refrigerator in the room. While we appreciate their eco-friendly approach, it was a bit inconvenient not being able to chill drinks, especially after a long, hot day of sightseeing. Overall, it’s a clean, modern place with a good location—just be ready for a more independent style of stay.

The Spectrum is a very comfortable hotel located a stone's throw from City Center and the Meatpacking District. An Espresso House coffee shop sits inside just off the lobby. The hotel seems brand new and is spotless and modern. Zero traffic noise penetrated our first-floor street-facing junior suite. The only negative was a persistent faint odor of sewer gas in our bathroom. The breakfast buffet is good but less lavish than that at Scandic Kødbyen we experienced during a previous visit to Copenhagen. Odd, as the Spectrum presents as more luxe than Kødbyen. The many narrow, rectangular elevator cars that initially seem like an intuitively smart way to ferry the largest number of people to guest rooms are, in fact, quite awkward to enter, ride, and exit, and became a sort of running joke between us because of the elaborate choreography needed to position ourselves in a car and then extricate ourselves. So, a couple of days into our ten-day stay, we opted for the stairs whenever possible. The staff is excellent. We would most definitely stay there again.

Be prepared to clean your own room. The room service is extremely disorganized and very limited. We arrived at 3:45 PM and had to wait an hour before receiving our room. Even then, we were given two rooms that were already occupied. We had to go back and forth to the concierge multiple times to get the issue resolved. Overall, a very frustrating experience.
