A very pleasant 2 day stay. Lovely breakfast and welcome scones with jam and cream. A comfortable cosy room walking distance into town. Easy parking and our host Ron is a lovely man making us feel really welcome.

WE LOVED OUR STAY VERY MUCH - EVEN THOUGH ONLY ONE NIGHT, IT WAS WONDERFUL AND RELAXING. ROOM SIZE PERFECT AND LARGE KS BED VERY COMFORTABLE. BREAKFAST IN-ROOM SERVICE WAS YUMMY AND NOURISHING. STAFF AMAZING, FROM WELCOME TO FAREWELL. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. WE WILL RETURN AGAIN ONE DAY.

We enjoyed a very spacious, comfortable room with good amenities. The ensuite bathroom was large and very clean. We had access to a lounge and dining area, as well as an outside gazebo. The lounge had a roaring fire, comfortable lounge chairs, books, games and a piano. A port or sherry could also be imbibed. As we had an early departure the next morning, the owner kindly organised our breakfast to accommodate this which was much appreciated. We also had scones with cream & jam & coffee on our initial afternoon arrival.

Great York B&B
Great B&B with guest lounge. Comfortable room, 5 mins walk into York main street, with at least 2 good restaurants and local colour. Many museums to visit. Lovely river walk.

Lovely stay
Very happy with our stay. The owners were unbelievably nice, and willing to go the extra mile just to make the guests happy. The common room was equipped with board games, DVDs, piano, and complimentary wine, which gave the whole stay a lovely touch that we truly appreciated.

Excellent accommodation
Received a warm and friendly welcome which made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious and comfortable in this purpose built bed and breakfast. You can walk to town in under 10 minutes crossing a suspension bridge over the river. Facilities include free wifi, DVDs, books, games, complimentary evening port, sherry or wine. The continental breakfast is more than adequate although a cooked breakfast is available at a small fee. The spacious living room has a grand piano if you are so inclined and a beautiful cosy tile fire. We highly recommend this accommodation

Lee and Ron are fabulous hosts!
We stayed for 2 nights for a wedding and were so impressed with the hospitality we received. The house itself is well appointed with large rooms and comfortable beds. Lee and Ron were so pleasant - a real homey feel to the place. And Lee had some great pointers for us about exploring the town for it's history and architecture. (PS - download the app and do a walking tour if you're able - it's great!!). Breaky was so lovely - anything and everything you could want in a B and B. Thanks!!
