Spend at least a couple of hours scanning the horizon for ships at Buyukcekmece Beach or Florya Beach.

Go 20 kilometres to the northeast and you'll stumble upon Cerkezkoy. It's the home of some awesome sights, including the Mehmet Kaynak Mosque and the Ataturk Aniti Monument.

Tekirdag sits 30 kilometres away from Corlu and is an essential part of the region. Nearby sights include Rakoczi Museum, the Tekirdag Museum and Su Dunyasi Dalis Egitim Merkezi. Got some time to kill? Hüseyin Pehlivan and the Rüstem Paşa Külliyesi are also within reach.
