This cozy semi-oceanfront house gives you all the benefits of an oceanfront house without paying ocean front rates! You and your family will enjoy ocean views just one lot from the beach on a quiet cul-de-sac in Ocean Sands Section F. We are located on the sandy beach, with NO roads to cross, just a quick walk to the ocean. Walk on our private sand path about 100 feet to the boardwalk, another 180 feet on the boardwalk over the dunes to the ocean - a total of 280 feet from door to beach!

This charming reverse floor plan is overflowing with character while offering ocean views. Watch breaking waves, wildlife, and spectacular sunrises from the comfort of your chair in the unique, octagon-shaped, two-story, bright, and airy Great Room. Enjoy our two large sundecks and the large screened-in deck for outside dining or enjoying the cooling breezes while protected from the elements. Unwind in the hot tub or soak up the sun in our swimming pool all in the privacy of our fenced in pool patio complete with dining area.

Top Floor: Enjoy our 65" high definition widescreen smart TV complete with surround sound home theater stereo system with 5 DVD/CD player/radio and wall mounted rear speakers which provide incredible sound quality. Electric fireplace. Updated major appliances in kitchen, full bath w/ washer and dryer, breakfast table (seats 4), bar (seats 4), large dining room table (seats 10) and card table. Dining room leads to a large screened porch w/ 2 picnic tables (seats 16). Large ocean front deck has a gas grill and plenty of comfortable seating.

Mid Level: Four generous sized bedrooms. Two bedrooms have king sized beds, private deck access, TVs and shared Jack and Jill bathroom. One bedroom has two twin beds with a TV. Another bedroom with two twin over twin bunk beds. Twin bedrooms share full hallway bathroom (with full bathtub!).

Ground Level: 2 gas grills, 10x20 private pool, hot tub (seats 7), private sandy path to beach boardwalk. Plenty of free parking including two car carport.

Extras: Wireless high speed internet, free unlimited local and long distance calling, gas grill, high chair, outside shower, community tennis, plenty of seating & outside lounging, ocean side and west facing decks. Smoking is not permitted.

Distance to Beach: 280 feet along private sandy path, no roads to cross. Bed linens and bath towels provided and beds made.

Because we are part of the Ocean Sands community, you will have access to multiple tennis and pickleball courts in the area.

Great Location for golfers - within a half mile of prestigious Currituck Club Golf Course, a Rees Jones designed 6888 yard, par 72 golf course awarded a spot on Golf Magazine's list of "Top 10 You Can Play." Golf Digest also ranked The Currituck Club as one of the Top 25 courses in North Carolina.

Walk (less than a half mile) to the 49,000 square foot Harris Teeter grocery store and other new shops at the Currituck Club.

Pets welcome but must be declared and a pet fee paid ($225 pet fee covers up to 2 dogs). Pets are not allowed on the furniture or the linens provided.

There are 3 cameras on the property, at the front door, back door and overlooking the lot between the house and ocean. Cameras will be on during your stay, recording is not active, only triggered when motion is sensed.

What a special place
We booked this property to bring our family together for Thanksgiving with plans to fish, surf, beach, and shop. The eight of us never felt crowded and the kitchen was the best stocked rental home ever (appliances, dishware, cooking tools). The hot tub was delightful as was the views and short walk to the beach. Our Labrador felt right at home as well. We communicated often with the owners and they were beyond helpful. The lack of good surfing waves this week were more than made up by an abundance of dolphin watching all week along with surf-fishing. Could not be happier with our stay or the owners. Chris, NJ

Great beach vacation with our dog! This beach seemed miles long, had lots of shells and in March was practically empty. The home had so much space and room inside and out. Grocery stores and restaurants were nearby. The mattress was great! Loved our stay!

Nice house and good location
Our first visit to Corolla and my first VRBO rental. It was very enjoyable. The house is a good location, limited view of the water but easy access to the beach. House was very clean and owners were extremely helpful and accommodating, providing excellent recommendations for food and recreation. Would definitely recommend to others.

We took an off-season time out to enjoy the quiet and serenity of the beach. The property is easy to find, clean and well appointed, even having a shucking station on the carport. The pool was closed for the season, but the hot tub was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This house was wonderful! Location was fabulous!! Check in was a breeze and the house was even ready early. The owners were wonderful with communication- very quick to respond. Kitchen large and stocked with what we needed. Bedrooms are nice and big - our kids loved the bunk bed room! Linens provided which is always a plus. Having our own private pool and hot tub also a huge plus! We are already planning a return trip!

Close to everything!
We enjoyed our stay. The proximity to the beach was great. There is a new house being built between the house and the beach, which takes away some of the beach view (you can’t see this in the pictures listed). The property is very conveniently located. It was walkable to the grocery store, coffee, and ice cream!

Great family vacation in a great location
We absolutely loved our stay! You can't beat the location! The owners were very thorough in providing details in advance, even texting the day of to ensure they were available when we arrived in case of any issues (there were none). The house was very clean and the beds reasonably comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you may need. There is also a wide array of puzzles, games, movies, and books.We loved the private pool and hot tub! For those with mobility limitations, it can be challenging to navigate the many steps in the house and lack of hand rails, but is doable. There are also two walk-in showers. However, accessing the beach is near impossible with four sets of steep stairs over the dunes and a large drop off into the sand at the end. Certainly not a flaw in the property but important to note for those with accessibility needs.

Great family vacation
We are first time visitors to OBX and completely fell in love. The house is on a cul-de-sac and is very private. It was steps away from the boardwalk that lead you to the most amazing beach. The beach was clean, water was clear and it was great for shell hunting. The house was immaculate. Beds and all furniture was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need. The house location was so close to a grocery store and the best Wild Horse Tour company. The owners of the house were always available to answer a question if we had one. The hot tub was a family favorite!

New Years Get Away
What a perfect home for New Years. Well appointed kitchen made cooking easy and the nice big table was so nice for New Years Eve dinner. Mornings on the deck watching the sunrise were beautiful. Great location but home needs to be better maintained
This home is on a cul de sac, has great views and close to groceries and shopping. If you have older people traveling with you I would not recommend as there are LOTS of steps and beach access steps are very steep with a drop off (large step up from beach) to beach. It was also difficult to handle our two very excited retrievers on these steps. When we arrived (after a 5 hour drive) there was no starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels etc so we had to run back out to buy some. The owners were notified and offered to send the cleaning crew right over. There was one bathcloth/towel per person for a 5 day stay (with a linen fee I thought they should have provided more so we weren’t constantly washing). The living area was great, wide open to kitchen with lots of views (you will need to bring baby gates for puppies, small children) to keep them from roaming the 3 levels of this house. We had a few maintenance issues which the owners were great to communicate with but I would hope they would come in And take a good look at the home. Overall maintenance needs some attention badly (moldy vents, dirty air filters, stained bath cloths, broken toilet paper holders). Also, the (very small) SHARED master bath was not desirable. For this size home and the price I expected at least a full size showers and separate toilet area. Overall location and communication were great.

Great Property!
The property was as advertised, and the process was smooth. The floorplan is perfect for a group (we were there for Thanksgiving). Beach access is easy and the neighborhood is quiet. Having the Harris Teeter and local shops (including a local brewery) within walking distance was an added bonus! We really enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend this property if you have a small group looking for a great beach location!.
