I didnt know what to expect when I booked it. Arrival was by bus from the airport to the harbour and boat to the island. The harbour is not easy to maneuvere, and not advisable for anyone with mobility issues.
There are 16 cottages and they are small but lovely, mine [number 1] was right on the beach.
The staff and boatmen are lovely and nothing is a problem to them, including arranging excursions for you.
Food is good and pool area great.
Thank you for a wonderful peaceful week.
Isolated on its, own island so no sellers to bug you. Beatiful gardens, preset menus but great food. Great boat service to town and pick ups.
Will stay there again!
The staff are very friendly but Cherry tried to charges us transport transfers from the airport and back. Iam not sure why ahes bot aware of the charges that included in my bookings. The island tour charges is a bit stiff and its not properly prepared the food is disappointing for the they charges us. The place needs a bit of facelift but the location is awesome.
the property has some sense of exclusivity; breakfast was great; our 1st day was spent in the property almost the whole day, there's not much activity to do except swimming in the pool so if you want to just chill and relax, it's a good place to be at

Fantastic resort in terms of location, service, food and amenities. An area that needs improvement is bathroom/plumbing. It's quite old and gets dirty very easily. Just not on par with the standard most hotels/resorts would offer in the area for a similar price range. Another is the punctuality of the room cleaning during the day. At times this was forgotten. It only got done after a few requests at the front desk. Otherwise, the stay has been great.

There was no free wifi at the lobby, contrary to Hotels.com claimed. But it was still great.
Excellent stay . Only complaint was that SOME staff could be a little more welcoming. But most of them were very nice. I loved the atmosphere and relaxing ambience.
Great resort for relaxing and unwinding. It’s quiet and peaceful. It’s a 10-15 min 400 pesos boat ride to Coron town. So if you’re looking for nightlife and a busy atmosphere, do not stay here. The family villa had plenty of space for myself, my husband, mom and 1 year old daughter. Front desk, dining room and boat staff were friendly and very helpful. Lunch and dinner are a set menu (family style) each day, but it was always delicious. The beach isn’t white sand, but the water was still great for swimming. The cabanas and beach chairs are perfect for when you need shade and just want to lounge around.
The individual huts are really nice, with a private bath and porch. By western standards, the bath is basic, but perfectly fine. The bamboo and rattan structures are beautiful and charming. The grounds are lovely, with a panoramic view of the rugged island mountains. The food is really good, too.
Great, quiet location. Perfect spot for a true "get away". Beautiful. Not a polished, luxurious place with tons of amenities, but quaint and cozy. Great staff and food was pretty good - great variety.

Improvements
1) An American guest went to the Male restroom because there is no sign.
The public restrooms need to be cleaned and in good working order.
2) Saw a lizard and cockroach in the cottage. This may be expected in the tropics, however, cockroaches can be controlled. I think I heard a tuko also. I thought it might be in the room. Have staff when cleaning to ensure that lizards, tuko, roaches, mosquitoes are kept out of the rooms. It wasn't bad at all.
3) Put a few shelves in the bathroom for toiletries.
Staying at the resort was a great experience. If you want a resort with a local style feel this is the place to stay. Traditional style huts with western style amenities. Strategically located across popular tour destinations such as twin lagoon and banul beach. Whether you want to lay in the hammock all day or island hop the choice is yours. Highly recommend staying here for anybody.
Excellent service (Mei and Niomi are great people at the resort). Bring a book or something to do, because there is NOTHING to do except swimming and go on island hopping tours. You are on the resort grounds and nowhere else to go. The corals by a boat house off the beach are not much; some fish but a little disappointing. Convenient cottages and very good food ..... but no choice (lunch and dinner are preset). If you want to get away from busyness and just relax with a book .... this is perfect.

Nice reef, hotel needs some improvements
The snorkelling was awesome and realy enjoyed it. I can just float there all day and watch the reef. This was the reason i booked this hotel. The hammock station is really nice. The room is okay, the bed is hard and the bathroom looks dirty because of the water. The water supply doesn't work sometimes and if it does, it's brown. The food is okay. They serve meat, seafood, vegies and rice. Not many choices. If you're a strict vegetarian, you'll starve. Internet connection doesn't work sometimes and during peak hours when everyone's connected to it is very slow. Trip to the town is included if you'll use their schedule, otherwise it'll be 400 pesos each way. The beach is not white sand. If you want to swim, i suggest you go to their floating house which is very nice and relaxing.
As a hotel its certainly different! The accommodation consists of individual cabins. the cabins are fairly crude with ill fitting windows and doors(not very good for air con and insects), the bathroom was also scruffy. The hotel is situated on an island and boats to the town of Coron are few and far between, the last boat back is at 1700hrs. I was told there were no available taxi boats back after this! The evening meals were OK but it was a set menu.
The site itself was rather scruffy and in places resembled a building site.
Would consider the hotel a two star at best.
