With full cable, HBO, Netflix, and high-speed 500 MB internet, you can stream, work, or binge-watch without a hitch.

Outdoor Living at Its Best
Enjoy the coastal breeze from the back patio, complete with a table, umbrella, and seating for 8. Surrounded by lush landscaping including hibiscus and gardenia, it’s the ideal place for meals, happy hour, or just relaxing with family. Need to rinse off the sand? An enclosed outdoor shower is conveniently located just behind the front steps.

Golf Cart for Extra Fun
During the summer months (late May through September), we offer the free use of a 6-seat gas golf cart to make getting around town or to the beach even easier. This fun and practical amenity comes with a few guidelines, including a liability waiver and refundable deposit, but it’s a great way to explore the area at your leisure.

Pet-Friendly Policy
We know that pets are part of the family, which is why we allow dogs to stay with you at Steps to the Sand. We have three dogs ourselves, so we understand how important it is to have a pet-friendly place to stay. We do ask that pets are kept on a leash while outside (per local laws) and that the designated pet area in the neighborhood is used. A small fee applies for each pet, along with a pet damage insurance policy, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a worry-free vacation.

Great location right next to the beach.
I had an amazing experience staying here! The house was immaculately clean and just a short 100-yard stroll to the beach, making it incredibly convenient. The host was very communicative, easy to reach, and extremely accommodating. The pictures online don’t do the place justice; the actual house was much nicer than the photos suggest. Overall, it was a great week, and I highly recommend this place!

Perfect space to getaway!
My family and I had such a wonderful stay at this property for my 30th birthday. The owner was so sweet and was responsive to all of our questions. Doggie station was only a few steps away so taking my dog out to potty was really easy. Getting to the beach was SUCH an easy lil walk across the boardwalk. It had all the comforts of home and the grocery store is only a quick drive down the street to stock up on whatever you need. I truly hope we can return to this property again because it was such a wonderful trip!

Beach is walkable but if you have heavier items might be worth it to have someone drop them off at the beach as the path is narrow. House was recently remodeled and is beautiful. Having the outdoor patio area was so nice! We found the rooms spacious and bathrooms convenient for all. Host was slvery accommodating and gave us some great tips on where to spot dolphins and were to eat, all were great!!! Of note, if I'm not mistaken the listing says beach towels are provided but they are, so you can leave those at home. Over great place and we will stay again.

Family trip
Staying in this fantastic house keeps getting better with recent updates making it feel more open and airy! I have stayed here several times when my family comes in from Denver. Adults and kids alike love the comfort and the location that allows us to walk to the beach. There are even beach toys and boogie boards for all to use! I will from now on schedule our beach trips according the availability of this place. The owner was super responsive to any questions that arose during our stay and had great recommendations for fun things to entertain all of us. Thank you Brian!!

Great family house close to the beach
Great property, tons of small amenities like beach towels and chairs and plenty of cookware that made our stay easy! It’s a super quick drive to the beach. The house was clean and comfortable - the front bedrooms are set up well for kids. Overall the only thing missing was a grassy space for the kids, but with the beach so close it wasn’t a big issue. We stayed with two families - 4 adults and 3 young kids and had plenty of space. Would book again!

Enjoyed our stay at this home. Recent remodel provides very nice flooring and updated bathrooms. Home was clean with comfortable beds, extra pillows and extra blankets. We brought extra paper towels, tubs of foods, and beach towels. There is a sprayer outside entryway to wash sand off and rack provided to hang towels. You will be a boardwalk away from beach so no need to drive the van to beach with a ton of sandy kids!

Beautiful Beach House
This beautiful beach getaway has all the comforts of home. The house has many updates which made us say “wow” when we first walked into it. I love we were provided with all the cooking essentials and the beds were so comfortable. A huge bonus was having the golf cart available to go to the beach or nearby places. It’s a short walk to the beach too using the boardwalk. The owners are amazing people. Our questions were always promptly answered and they stayed in touch to make sure we got checked in ok and were available if any assistance was needed.

Great weekend getaway!
We just had a fun weekend trip with our daughter, granddaughter and dog. Brian’s place was exactly as described, and we are adding to the positive reviews! Everything was clean and we appreciated the extra touches like shampoo and soap. Kitchen is well stocked for any cooking. Best of all, the beach is right down the boardwalk, just around the corner! Had a wonderful stay at this property, amenities were great and was just a short walk to the beach! Kitchen was well stocked and had great decor. We’ve stayed in Port A a number of times and there are a number of things that really sets this place apart from others: access to golf cart (it’s expensive to rent one on your own), short walk to beach, outdoor enclosed shower, beach towels/chairs/boogie boards for use, and pet-friendly! I can’t stress enough how nice the golf cart was to use to haul stuff to the beach or to get around town. The communication with the owner was excellent as well! Will definitely stay here in the future.
