£25 to park a car for 10 hours
On arrival at midnight asked to pay £25 to park my car for the night. When queried the response was simply “ nothing I can do about it” Kept awake by noisy pipes. I will never use ibis again

I like that the hotel was just 10 minutes away from the airport and 5 minutes away from shopping centres, malls, Cineworld, etc. I also appreciate that they have a shuttle service to and from the airport/train station. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and I appreciated that since this was my first time in England.

Not up to Accor standard!
This was an overnight stay as we had an early flight out of Gatwick. The hotel was not what I am used to for the Accor group. The food was clearly frozen stuff and very oily. They even managed to give us the wrong order. I asked for Soya milk for my tea and they had run out. Toiletries were scarce, just the basic shower gel and shampoo. The staff were really great though and the airport shuttle even though there was a £5 per person, was convenient and efficient. Luckily it was only one night!

Good stay with easy shuttle to and from London Gatwick airport, swanky clean and comfortable spaces with door security in the evening. I just found that the continental breakfast from 4am-6am is way overpriced for what is available during that time. Otherwise great value.

Recently renovated and neat but has an odor
Check in staff was very friendly but appear to be understaffed. Hotel looks to have been recently renovated and very clean. Did not advertise that parking was extra 25 pounds/night. Hallway has new carpeting and very neat but has a ?musty odor that they should try to get rid of. Smells like a nursing home/care facility.
