Black Bear Hideout-Hot tub, Ski in/out!

Summary:
Great 2 BR Black Bear Lodge property. Garage parking, hot tub.

The Space:
Located on the 1st floor of the upscale Black Bear Lodge, this unit comes with everything you need to make the most of your time in Crested Butte. Positioned 100 yards from the West Wall ski lift, steps from the shuttle bus stop, this 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit is ideally located for both mountain and town access.
With large windows, an open floor plan and decor that will make you feel right at home in the mountains, this one-story condo feels much bigger than its square footage. The living/dining/kitchen allow for you to be a part of it all while you prepare dinner or serve your hungry crew of outdoor enthusiasts.
The kitchen with knotty alder cabinets and granite countertops is equipped with all the amenities. You can seat 4 comfortably at the dining room table with 2 additional seats at the bar top. Cozy up next to the gorgeous stone hearth and enjoy the gas fireplace during a meal or enjoy the outdoors on the patio with living room or primary bedroom access.

The primary suite offers a queen bed, deck access, TV, a soaking tub, with a separate shower and double vanities. The second bedroom has two twins that can be prepared before your arrival into a king bed upon request. (Please give at least 48 hours notice for bed request) A separate full bath with shower is adjacent to this bedroom. There is a twin foldable platform bed for a 5th guest and a pack n play for a little one. There is also a washer/dryer in the condo. As an added perk, guests have access to a dedicated ski locker inside the lobby to store your gear for the duration of your stay.

Black Bear Lodge is one of the very few properties on the mountain with heated, underground parking! No more scraping your windshield or having to warm up your car. Two parking spaces are available for guests to use (one dedicated to #105 and one for a guest space). You will find two parking passes in the condo to display in your vehicles. If you don't feel like driving your car, the shuttle bus stop is right on the corner (about 25 yards away). This makes traveling to and from town or the base area super easy, and to hit the slopes, take the 2-minute walk across Hunter Hill Road, through the tunnel and straight to the West Wall Lift.

Additional features of the lodge: a large communal hot tub (right around the corner) 2 robes and oversized towels provided, a large lodge room with TV for gatherings, private locked ski locker on the ground floor common area, and a communal outdoor gas grill. Walk 100 yards to the ski slopes in the winter and to many hiking and biking trails in the summer.

The garage entrance is 94 inches. No trailer or RV's are allowed at this property due to town regulations and/or HOA covenants or restrictions.
The minimum age for all persons in this property is 25 years, except children (of all ages) with their parent or legal guardian.

Spacious, warm, and bright space!
We enjoyed our stay at Black Bear condos. Since it snowed several times, it was lovely to be able to park in the garage. Our son is in a wheelchair and there was lots of wonderful space in which he could maneuver around. We also had easy access to the bed in his bedroom. After several emails (that were answered quickly) with the managers of the property, they were able to assure us that we would have the space that we needed for our son and his wheelchair. The couches were super comfortable and we loved having all of the windows to let in the light and to see the gorgeous fall colors right outside the windows. The fireplace kept us really cozy, as well. It was just a delightul week in this lovely property. We are hoping we could return to enjoy more time in beautiful Mt. Crested Butte.

Beautiful all the way around
The condo is beautiful, the grounds are beautiful and the mountain is beautiful. The property manager checked in to make sure everything was okay. My only suggestion is to have coffee in the unit. There is a drip coffee maker and a Keurig, but no coffee or creamer/sugar. A coffee shop is 5-7 minute walk away and the small shop in Mt. CB didn't have anything. Most VRBOs have coffee included at this point, especially at this price point.

Wildflower Festival stay
This was our first time to Crested Butte & we will be returning. The condo was great. Fully stocked, comfortable and fun decor. We noticed a leak in the kitchen sink & the property management was right on it. We will be back & will be spreading the word!! Thanks for a great stay

Perfect in summer too
Quick weekend trip in July to see our 19-year-old who is working in CB this summer. We usually try to stay in town in the summer but since we planned our trip at the last minute, most houses in our price range were booked. But I'm glad it worked out for us to try the Black Bear Lodge! It was very clean and comfortable. It seemed cooler during the day too, when we were relaxing in the condo after hiking. It also is quieter on the mountain in the summer than in town, and I love quiet. It also worked out well to have two twin beds in the guest room because our son brought a friend and that made it easy to accommodate everyone. We only cooked breakfast in the condo but had what we needed and two options for coffee. We played games the last night and overall, had a very enjoyable three-night stay.

Wonderful Location
We had a great time being so close to the slope! The room was advertised as 3 Twin beds in one room. The 3rd Twin was actually a portable one and not really room for it in the guest bedroom. Overall a very nice place just wasn’t the layout we were expecting.

Colorful Colorado Fall Colors at Their Best
The Black Bear Hideout met all our requirements, well appointed, great location, comfortable, cozy decor. The beds are comfortable, and the room-darkening curtains ensured we sleep in past the wakeup alarm. The kitchen was equipped to prepare our preplanned menus and stocked with the requisite cleanup items. The ground level porch off the Master Bedroom made easy work of taking the dog out. The key coded parking garage was easy to access and added a sense of security that our personal gear was safe.
