Location is great, staff is excellent, polite and helpful. The room was very outdated, furniture is cheap and in poor condition. The sofa had holes on it, the desk was warped and peeling, no dishes or cutlery in the kitchenette - which I was told that “the rooms ending in certain numbers don’t have them” (??). You could tell mattress was old and uncomfortable, the blankets and towels provided were also super old and tired and some of the towels had holes in them. Breakfast was tasty with a lot of variety. You can tell that the place is in much need of renovations and upkeep.

We loved it! The staff were super helpful and courteous. The restaurant was affordable and delicious. It was centrally located and we also had a beautiful mall right down the street.

Just so-so
I had a room facing the street and it was so noisy. The windows had gaps and noise from the street can directly pass through. Room is kind of old and bed sheets not very clean. Location is convenient, with a shopping mall in walking distance.

An American in Curitiba
I chose the San Juan Royal because it was the closest hotel to the Cabral district that also matched my amenity requirements. Although my actual room was very small it was clean and well cared for. The public spaces are nice and the hotel staff was extremely helpful. There was always one clerk on duty that spoke English if needed. The hotel is within a short walk of Passeio Publico and about a 20 minute walk to the Museu Oscar Niemeyer with easy access to the Mueller Mall and the Tourist Bus as well. I will use this hotel again if I have the opportunity to revisit beautiful Curitiba.

Business overnight stay
The hotel service was very good, but the rooms have paper thin walls and windows. I could hear the conversations from other guests and that was not very conducing to a relaxing atmosphere. Other than that, I was very satisfied with the hotel and the helpful service.

Good location, but a little antiquated
The hotel is well located near all the central spots in Curitiba. The rooms are not great, and for example the window lets in a fair amount of noise. Staff were perfectly nice, and the breakfast was the typcial Brazilian buffet.

Férias - !° passeio sozinha em outro Estado
Data : 7 e 8 de setembro .Fiquei no quarto 710 ,foi tudo muito bom, quarto e hotel limpo, bem próximo ao Shopping Miller ( cerca de 5 min a pé ),café da manhã com muita diversidade, sendo reposto sempre , maravilhoso o café da manhã, cama confortável, chuveiro quente, toalhas limpas . Importante: o kit do banheiro é muito cheiroso, porém poderia não ser fixado na parede o shampoo e condicionar (sou baixinha, tive um pouco de dificuldade pra utilizar). Sugestão : Deixa o Shampoo/ condicionar tb individual, fica mais prático para o uso. Agradecimentos : Quero agradecer a recepção que foi muito prestativa, cheguei no hotel caminhando a pé pelo trajeto do shopping Estação (cerca de uns 30 minutos andando ), quando informei o trajeto ao Leandro na recepção ,o mesmo liberou minha entrada para o quarto 1 hora antes do check-in .A camareira Ananda ,um amor de pessoa, muito simpática ,prestativa, faltou shampoo no quarto, a mesma levou o shampoo ,ajudou sobre a dica da trava da porta do quarto e outras dúvidas que eu tinha. Com certeza tendo condições financeiras voltarei .

Pontos positivos: Excelente café da manhã, com muitas variedades. Ótima localização, quarto bom, atendimento bom. Ponto a melhorar: Só tem sabonete no banheiro quando você faz o chekin, se você ficar vários dias e acaba o sabonete, as pessoas que limpam o quarto não repõe sabonete.
