Okay

Location is great, staff is excellent, polite and helpful. The room was very outdated, furniture is cheap and in poor condition. The sofa had holes on it, the desk was warped and peeling, no dishes or cutlery in the kitchenette - which I was told that “the rooms ending in certain numbers don’t have them” (??). You could tell mattress was old and uncomfortable, the blankets and towels provided were also super old and tired and some of the towels had holes in them. Breakfast was tasty with a lot of variety. You can tell that the place is in much need of renovations and upkeep.

We loved it! The staff were super helpful and courteous. The restaurant was affordable and delicious. It was centrally located and we also had a beautiful mall right down the street.

Just so-so

I had a room facing the street and it was so noisy. The windows had gaps and noise from the street can directly pass through. Room is kind of old and bed sheets not very clean. Location is convenient, with a shopping mall in walking distance.

An American in Curitiba

I chose the San Juan Royal because it was the closest hotel to the Cabral district that also matched my amenity requirements. Although my actual room was very small it was clean and well cared for. The public spaces are nice and the hotel staff was extremely helpful. There was always one clerk on duty that spoke English if needed. The hotel is within a short walk of Passeio Publico and about a 20 minute walk to the Museu Oscar Niemeyer with easy access to the Mueller Mall and the Tourist Bus as well. I will use this hotel again if I have the opportunity to revisit beautiful Curitiba.

Business overnight stay

The hotel service was very good, but the rooms have paper thin walls and windows. I could hear the conversations from other guests and that was not very conducing to a relaxing atmosphere. Other than that, I was very satisfied with the hotel and the helpful service.

Good location, but a little antiquated

The hotel is well located near all the central spots in Curitiba. The rooms are not great, and for example the window lets in a fair amount of noise. Staff were perfectly nice, and the breakfast was the typcial Brazilian buffet.

Fomos hospedados em quartos novos, limpos e organizados. Roupa de cama e toalhas limpos. O ambiente era confortável. Café da manhã com opções gostosas e frescas. A localização é ótima. Nossa experiência foi afetada, pois quando fomos tomar banho a noite a água não esquentava. Chamamos um responsável e a justificativa era de que estavam lotados e haviam muitos hóspedes tomando banho naquele horário. Duas horas depois a situação persistiu. Foi extremamente desagradável já que temos um bebê de 1 ano. O hotel deveria rever esse setor, já que tem mais hóspedes que relataram o mesmo problema. Enfim, a experiência poderia ter sido excelente, principalmente pela qualidade do estabelecimento, mas há pontos essenciais que precisam ser revistos.

Esperamos nunca mais precisarmos nos hospedar aqui

Manobristas atenciosos e educados. Atendimento no front desk com uma tremenda má-vontade. Quarto pequeno, antigo, e com péssimo isolamento acústico (ouvia-se a criança do quarto ao lado berrando). Ar-condicionado começou a pingar no meio da madrugada. Banheiro minúsculo e box ainda menor (com chuveiro sofrível, para dizer o mínimo). Foi cobrada taxa de pet e estacionamento (embora isto não esteja informado no anúncio do hotel nesta plataforma).
