Property is clearly and old and run down facility that was made to look nice at a distance, but wasn’t well updated or things were reused like the showers. Our AC unit down button was broken, so when we turned it up, we were never able to turn it back down for nighttime. The doors were loud, toilets would wake the neighbouring room up, and the shower heads and door need replacing badly. Sofas in the rooms are hard as a rock, too. Only halfway decent thing there was the bed and pillows, but even those get an average rating overall.

The hotel doesn't have a pool or hot tub but decided to book it because of the location. The shower was unusable due to the condition of the bathtub. It was corroded and nasty. We were going to get a bath mat the next day. The next morning while we are getting ready to go to Walmart after breakfast, my granddaughter screams and jumps up on the bed. I look under the bed and see a huge roach laying there. I go down to show the front desk guy the picture and get moved. He says that they have no more rooms with 2 beds available. Since we would have to check out and find another hotel, he said that they would refund the 2nd night that we did not stay. He said to contact Expedia and they will take care of the refund since they collected the payment. Expedia contacted the hotel and they denied the refund! I ended up paying for 2 hotel rooms for the same night! Housekeeping was there to clean our room as we were leaving so they probably also re-rented the room as well. Terrible experience! P.S. after leaving we were sick to our stomachs at the thought that we ate breakfast there and there are more likely roaches in the kitchen if they had them in the rooms.
