Great Potential
We chose this house due to the pool, the size was perfect for our family, and the close proximity to my sister's home. We loved the big windows overlooking the pool from the living/dining area. The lighting and ceiling fans were great. However, we did have some concerns. The beds were cheap metal with thin foam mattresses that were flimsy and extremely uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on cheap pull out sofa beds. There was no other furniture in the bedrooms. No chairs, no dresser or table and no hangers in two of the rooms. There was not enough furniture in the living room for our family to sit comfortably. The windows overlooking the pool area were dirty and smudged. Some of the flatware in the drawers were dirty as if they had been directly placed in the drawer after being used. There was a glob of black, long hair stuck to the shower wall in the hall bathroom before my daughter used the shower for the first time. The toilet paper holder in the master bathroom was broken. Most disturbing of all was the fence surrounding the pool is in bad shape and there was no lock on the pool gate per city ordinance. There was no safety lock bar on the sliding glass door from the house to the pool area. Not even a broom stick. The fire extinguisher in the living room was still in its box. This is the first negative feedback I've ever written after years of renting From VRBO. This house would be great if these issues were taken care of and the house made safe and comfortable.
