Perfect from arriving half hour before check-in time and taking in a quick sandwich in the bar, to a lovely clean comfortable room (236), very quiet stay to a fantastic, beautifully prepared buffet breakfast before leaving after our one night stay...would definitely stay again if in the area.

As ever a lovely stay at the Birch Hotel. I was staying on business so a good breakfast choice as well as evening dining is important and the Birch scores highly on both. There is plentiful parking, a great bar, the team are very welcoming and the rooms are spacious and very well appointed. Would happily recommend for business or leisure. As a lone female traveller I felt safe and welcomed here.

reception lovely friendly extremely clean, was near a main road coukd not have windows open room looking into car park so aswell as noise from busy road had the cars on the car park in and out but a very clean friendly place just a wee bit noisey

Lovely hotel
Very welcoming staff on reception. The receptionist explained where our room was. Very clean room, and bathroom lovely white soft towels. Lovely dinning area where you had a buffet breakfast, which was very good. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends

Love the cleanliness and cozy environment of the hotel. But i guess it is an old building so the sound can penetrate the wall easily - you can easily hear people chatting in the communal area on the floor below and in the hallway, thus had to ask the receptionist to kindly remind other guests (it was midnight already).
