A comfortable room on the top floor, remained quiet even though a wedding party was taking place on the ground floor. Only mugs were provided in the room and no glasses in the bathroom. Also some dust on the doors and window ledge. Very nice gardens and surroundings.

While it was a beautiful place to stay, I was disappointed in the room itself. It was much smaller than the photos portrayed it and the bed was not comfortable. The shower head was covered in mould, and you could feel each individual bed spring in the mattress and felt as if you were sleeping directly on the bed base. It squeaked and groaned with any movement and was not good for my arthritic back. I had expected a bit more from a 4* hotel sadly.
