11 bedroom Western Mn Family Fun Lodge with Sand Volleyball court - Sleeps 20+

The Maxxed Out lodge is perfect for large groups of family, friends or even corporate groups to gather and sleep comfortably under one roof!

Located on 8 acres just off Lac qui parle lake in western MN, it is a great spot to get away. The main lodge has 9 separate bedrooms, seven of those bedrooms contain two twin beds and 2 bedrooms contain one queen.

Our game room located adjacent from the main lodge is newly renovated and has two bedrooms with 6 total beds and a 1/2 bath.

Our 8 acre lot offers tons of room for activities and features a newly installed sand volley ball court just off our back deck.

The space

As you enter the lodge you'll see the dining room table immediately to your left and the kitchen just past that.

We offer a fully equipped kitchen that includes a commercial cook stove and oven with a large cast iron flat top skillet that the cook in your group will love! Just outside the kitchen we have a large 4 burner gas grill with plenty of space to cook for your entire group.

With your kitchen and dining room off to your left as you walk in, looking forward you'll see the bathrooms/showers and turn to your right you will see our great room.

The great room features vaulted ceilings and a working stone fireplace and is the perfect way to unwind on those cool western MN evenings.

Off the back side of the great room is long haul way with 3 bedrooms on both sides. Each of these bed rooms contains two twin beds.

Off the back of this hallway is the exit to the backyard and our new 14x24 deck that's perfect for a morning cup of coffee or an evening relaxing and sharing laughs with your group.

There is a stair case leading up from the great room to the loft area. The loft has a common area and is a great spot to read or play board games and has a hallway that leads to 3 more bedrooms. Two of these bedrooms have one queen bed and one bedroom as two twins.

As you drive up to the front of the lodge and park you'll notice another building off to your left. This is the game room and it is located just out the front door and 15 steps to the north and is a a very popular feature. This newly remodeled space is a fully furnished and features wifi, a flat screen 4K tv (perfect for the gamers in your group) and a foosball table!

The game room also has two bedrooms with 6 beds and it's own bathroom and shower!

Our advertised rates are for a party of 20. We can accommodate groups larger than that. Please inquire at booking for rates of parties over 20.

Great cabin for a guys trip.
Great cabin for a guys trip. Only two issues were there were no towels and they scheduled lawn services to be done for 4 hours the one day we were there. Other than that beds were good kitchen was clean and fully stocked.I would recommend.

A Christmas To Remember
It was the hand of God working when I stumbled onto MaxxedOut lodge and chose it for our 2021Christmas gathering. My husband died of cancer last December and our family had always gathered at the Dawson Racquetball Club that is now a church so that was no longer an option. Having stayed at many VRBO properties in the past I was surprised to see this property just pop up on my screen I live in Dawson and I had no idea this lodge was even here. A hunter I am not but 25 0f us gathered and truly had The Best Christmas in what had been an extremely difficult year for all of us Graham was so easy to work with and Ashley had fresh cookies just out of the oven when I arrived We have already made our reservations to return in 2022. I would highly recommend Maxxedout Lodge to all

The property is nice and neat. It has plenty of beds for a large family or several families. It's in a quiet part of rural Minnesota which we liked. The town of Dawson is an awesome town. They are very friendly and helpful. Ashley did a nice job of giving us a tour and being patient with us when we were running late. Her notebook about local highlights was very helpful and useful. Our stay was delightful. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cabin with my family.

Plenty of bedrooms for everyone .Showers were small, but very usable. Loads of room outside for yard games and the new sand volleyball court was great. used it a lot! Game was being renovated and will be really nice when it's done. Overall, a wonderful time and I would recommend it for any large group of people.

Excellent response to any questions prior to stay. Great welcome by the property manager. Perfect for large groups with options to spread out. Only downside was the living room furniture, (time for some new couches and chairs). Otherwise exactly as advertised and will likely return with our annual get together, thanks !

7 couples that became friends in AZ for the winter gathered at Maxxed Out Guides for a few days of golf, fun, eating and a lot of laughs! This place was just what we were looking for and it didn't disappoint! It was great to stay all under one roof and the accommodations were just what we were looking for. Great place for a large group
Our family had a wonderful time at Maxxed Out Guides! There was plenty of sleeping accommodations for the 22 people in our group! Plenty of room to sprawl out whether indoors or outdoors. The game room was a hit for the younger kids and teenagers. Lots of yard space for games of all sorts! Very private and secluded! Everyone had a great time!! Sara was very attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We would highly recommend this resort for a family getaway! Shay

Good setting
It was a good setting for our family gathering with kids. Outdoor space to play soccer, baseball and kickball. Sarah was a good host and did well at making sure everything was ready for the weekend and was accommodating. It worked well for simply being able to spend time with family.

Great getaway place.
Cabin was nice and big, it really did fit all 19 of us. Backyard was great, it dried up in time before our stay and we were able to set up our volleyball net. Firepit was right by the deck so it was easy access. Gameroom was actually very pleasant with the pingpong table and a nice smart TV. The only small problems we had was that the beds were too hard as it is loaded with springs and we would constantly wake up sore all-around our bodies. There seems to be quite some dust as our allergies kicked in whenever we stayed inside. And we couldn't get the oven to work but that wasnt a big deal. Also, the photos showing the lake and fishing dock should probably be taking down or captioned as a nearby lake, because we initially planned for a lake but found out it was actually 15-20mins drive away. Overall, definitely a nice getaway cabin in the middle of farm lands, fits a big group of people as well and great communication with Sarah.

19 adults stayed comfortably in the lodge it was a cold snowing weekend and we had fun
The lodge was clean and well stocked for our group of 19. We brought a couple of folding tables and chairs for meals and game playing, other than that it was fine. Our group went into Dawson bowling on Saturday afternoon and we enjoyed the hospitality of the Dawson bowl. We would stay again for our winter weekend getaway.
