Deceptive
Was unexpectedly charged to park in the hotel's open, uncovered parking lot. There were no signs posted that said there was a fee for parking, nor was it mentioned at check-in. I noticed it on my bill at checkout and was told then I was being charged for parking. It's a deceptive practice and I should be refunded.

The only complaint I have is that they did not open the stairs that lead to beach in the back in the morning. We had to go out and take the path to beach from next open land. Breakfast is good. We only stained for a night and overall, it is decent. Rooms are small but clean.

I love that it was pet friendly. The room were very clean. The staff was helpful and nice. I also loved the fact this Hampton Inn had a Tiki bar. The young men that worked the bar was on point with the drinks and taking the food orders. The food was hot & delicious. The weekend of my stay 11/14/24 was a community seafood festival not to far from the hotel.

They told me they were notifying you. Resertvation #72949653361296 for $284.98. I have been asking then for refund or credit to return when hurricane season is over. Beaches aren't very accessible until much later in the afternoon due to tides coming up to the wall. Beaches are also not raked so filled with seaweed. Hotel seems older and a little run down. Under construction. No staff cleaned out room for our entire 5 day stay - we had to ask for new towels and empty our own trash. Pool was a good amenity but overall not much to do space from the pool. We liked that the pool was open late and close to the tiki bar! Staff overall was friendly.
