This property is not at the Hyatt Level. The rooms are shabby on the second floor you can smell the restroom sewer smell. NO SWIMMING POOL FREE BREAKFAST good for the price Over all this place should just needs a lot of restoration. The staff knows all the issues but are not able to help. This is oceanfront property but there is construction going on for last 2 years they have pallets and pallets of raw material in the back and you cannot use the hotel entrance to the beach. Save your money and book some other place.

The pool was not in use. Beach access was not available, although that is not a big deal as you can take a two min walk and get to the beach from adjacent park. Getting off the elevator to the floor there was a bad smell. Breakfast was really bad. Avoid this hotel if possible. unfortunately the Hotel is very old and I guess due to hurricane damage all amentities were not available. Although I must stress the staff were top notch, very nice and responsive to any issues and accomodating / flexible.

The view was excellent. But that was pretty much it. Nothing else to offer. Free breakfast was very nice but they kept running out of milk, coffee, utensils... and we had to wait for a long time for these items to get refilled. No pool or no direct access to the beach didn't matter to us because we went in the winter. You can easily walk to the beach by walking to the park right next to the hotel building. Walking from hotel entrance to the beach took about 3 min literally. This hotel smelled like weed, every corner... every floor... we were there with small children and we were disgusted with the smell. Restaurant did not open and I don't even understand why they were advertising as 24/7 open. The worst part was the parking. Not enough parking to accommodate entire guests. I could not find the parking late at night and when I called the lobby, they told me to park across the street, which is also their designated paring. I had to park there and walk back alone. As a female, walking alone at 11 pm back to hotel did not feel safe and I was very angry that this information was never shared before booking/check-in. I booked this place because I trust all Westin properties. This place was a huge disappointment. I will never return and never recommend to anyone.

Rather disappointed in this stay. We have been here before and this time the breakfast buffet wasn't well stocked and it was obvious there just wasn't enough employees to keep it stocked. It's a sad situation in this country that the CEO makes bonuses sometimes in the millions,yet they cut everyday employees that run the show that makes the consumers happy. Also we wanted an ocean front room and paid extra for it only to find no chairs on the balcony to sit on. That's the joy of going to the ocean. Sitting on the balcony in the morning drinking coffee watching the sunrise and in the evening watching the sunset. We will not be returning here ever again!

Highly recommend!
We had a beautiful balcony view of the ocean which included 2 outdoor chairs & a table to relax. The room was spacious & very clean. Our kids loved the bunk beds & the gaming setup! The bathroom included everything we needed & more. The food at the restaurant was delicious! We enjoyed swimming in the pool & using the hot tub since the ocean was really cold.

Not a good stay. I’ve stayed here a few times before and it was nice this time was disappointing. Front desk was not nice, would not check me in early and was just rude. The hotel was not clean as usual. The repairs from the storm was paused I was only informed when I called back to ask after reading a review. It was not mentioned in the reservation at all. Overall a big disappointment and probably will not stay there again.

The room wasn’t ready at 5pm!!!! The front desk were not helpful at all. Breakfast is not as good. There’s no water available to drink. The bathroom door is broken. They only told us few days before our check in that there’s no pool and no beach access as well. Definitely will not come back here.

Hyatt Place Hotel on Daytona Beach was very cozy. The bed was very comfortable. There was a sectional couch. The couch was not confortable but it gave us a place to unwind before turning to bed. Balcony had no chairs. It would be nice to have chairs to sit down and enjoy the ocean view. Staff members were very friendly. Every time we passed by the front desk, the employees at the front desk smiled and greeted us. It was very sweet! This Hyatt Place was on the smaller size but it was cozy and inviting. We will come back to it again.
