it seems they switched over to code entry call phone number on door for code a nice lady moved us from our first room There was poor lighting on the outside it may be for the Sea turtles the second room was nice the place was quite if I were 20 years younger no bother limited tv channels we booked hoping to say hi Bob &Penny they ran the place a couple years ago Great price basic place bottom line I would stay again even with the pool out being out but arrive in the day ken

Check-in was a breeze! My husband and I were greeted by Sharon the housekeeper and on-site helper. She showed us to our room and was extremely helpful .The Oceanside room we had was clean, modern and roomy. A huge Plus was the well-equipped kitchen. The general manager Jill takes great care of the property and went above and beyond! I definitely would recommend this place to family and friends. We will be back for sure!!

I went over the weekend and had alot of issues. First we couldn’t get into the room. They had two locks on door because someone tried breaking in at one point so they have double key boxes on it. So I called the place a lady said no one was on site so a gentleman came and he smelt like straight alcohol. He had to push hard on the door for it to open. Then I had no parking pass in the room like I was supposed too. They defiantly don’t clean the rooms well because there was sand all over the floor. I get we are on a beach but being that they have a house keeper before each reservation you should be doing the floor. Before putting shoes on to go out I had to scrub my feet with a towel. My main concern is it was supposed to be a non smoking room and smelt like straight smoke in the room and I’m a severe asthmatic and had to use my inhaler several times. It’s a ghost town at this hotel. No one round if you need something. Very disappointed.

Filthy with cockroaches in the silverware drawer.
Roaches on the floor and in the silverware drawer! Overall filthy, staff was rude, told me the roaches were “just” palmetto bugs before even seeing it and shouting at me while I explained that a palmetto bug is actually a particularly large species of roach which also can fly and spread illnesses. Overall an absolutely terrible experience and total waste of time and money and ruined 5 days of my hard-earned vacation.

This is our third time staying at this location. Never had a problem but this time the pool is down and out of service due to Florida storms. They say hopefully the pool will be up and running this upcoming September. Right on the beach. Food, stores and gas stations nearby. How far and friendly staff. Pet friendly and good for familys.Nothing special but doable.

The room was so clean and quaint. The room had a ocean view and tables outside, along with a grill. The staff were so friendly and responded urgently to all our requests. The only thing I didn't care for was the pool was closed because the area was under construction. Great stay, will definitely come back!

The room had large roaches, floor was not swept and had sand, shower drain was clogged, the bed had hair and sand from the last person who rented, hotel had no room service and the office was closed 24/7.

I couldnt actually stay here. They use a lock box with a key in it. Without saying what the code to the lock box was, i can say that it is simple enough that its unlikely it's ever changed. But you don't really need to get into the lock box because all you really need is a crow bar. The door has space along the side of it where any kind of psycho could invade your room if they want to. I booked a room with a view and was given a view of the parking lot. Honestly, that sucked but i couldve rolled with it. The tv couldnt connect to the wireless router and while we were waiting for that to be fixed, we found bugs, stains, and pubic hairs in various parts of the room. Literally cobwebs on the door, gunk splotches on the wall, the ceiling fan looked like it was due to fall off. I will say that the people from the hotel accomodated my need to cancel the booking, so ive been reluctant to review, but expedia reminded me other customers may need to know.

For the price...this was an excellent value. I was in the Deluxe Studio Suite which was the front room closest to the beach. The view of the beach (over and beyond the closed pool) is great. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchenette is very basic, but with the things I brought from home, it was okay for just me. Sharon, the housekeeper, was very friendly and accommodating, answering any questions and making sure I had everything I needed. With all that said, I would stay in the same room again.

This property is a good lower price option for stays in Daytona Beach. While it does not have the amenities of more upscale properties (no pool, no bar, no restaurant) it makes the most of what it has. There was a self serve breakfast that was pretty good offering sandwiches, fruit, waffles and a few other options. Our room was good sized with a small but well equipped kitchen space. We had an oceanfront balcony which was nice. The room, while dated, was also kept very clean. We have stayed here a couple of times now, so overall I consider it a good value.
