Log cabin retreat in the Summit Lake area

True log cabin in the Northwoods of WI sleeps 8 and is open year round. This cabin is full of amenities w/ seasonal activities all around and is surrounded by multiple lakes. It's located on the snowmobile trail for winter fun and ATV/UTV trail for summer/fall fun. 18 hole golf course, public boat launch, public beach, skiing, hiking, and biking trails are all located within 5 miles of this property and is in walking distance of a bar & grill. Garage is stocked w/ a grill & outdoor games.

Our cabin features a master bedroom on the main level with a king bed and loft bedroom with one king and one single bed as well as 2 full bathrooms. Our partially finished lower level offers a great space to relax on the futon or glider rocker and enjoy a bit of TV. Our equipped kitchen allows you to cook as you'd like or take a short walk to The Dock Bar and Grill for a steak or sandwich. We have 3 flat screen TV's in the property for your viewing pleasure. You can also kick on the gas fireplace and just RELAX! Rather hang outside, we a large firepit for that too! Bring your own wood or purchase locally on your way. Biking, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, ATV riding, golf, fishing or just hanging out are all within reach when you stay with us! The time is yours!

In addition to the master bedroom and loft bedroom, a queen size sofa sleeper is available for use in the living room as well as a futon in the lower family room area.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cabin, which features a fireplace. There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.

Convenient Location
The property is located close to a golf course and local lakes. There's a gas station close by along with a small grocery store. Cabin had all the amenities.

The area is so inviting. There are beautiful lakes close by to where we enjoyed kayaking and swimming. Campfires at night in the large firepit. A well kept clean cozy log home loved by our family.

This is a lovely ,well maintained property. Owners are wonderful to work with. We had a hot water issue,and even though it lasted awhile, they were right on it. We would definitely rent this again.

Peaceful area and beautiful setting. Huge master bedroom and open loft for second bedroom/bathroom. Well equipped kitchen, but the living room furniture was very well used and not very comfortable. Back deck needed work.

Comfy retreat while hunting
Cabin had plenty of space and beds to meet our needs. Location was perfect for getting to our hunting land, the gas station, restaurants, and the grocery store. We only had a couple issues- internet didn’t work, driveway wasn’t plowed, and towels/dishes weren’t put away from the previous stay. Nothing affected our stay, though, and communication was easy with the owners. A few things just to note for renters: traffic flies by, so be careful on the road; if showering, don’t run other water or you’ll lose all water pressure; and be very careful on all the stairs! Overall, we had a great stay! We’d rent again.

I loved the extras like cooking dishes galore, plates, ziploc bags, and just about anything else that you might need! The Cabin was cozy and welcoming, as was the bucket of snacks ready for eating. Having yard games and kayaks in the garage was a surprise. The area for a large bonfire was perfect, as you sat under beautiful trees and total privacy. The beds were king-size and the decor was just what a North Woods atmosphere should be. The only thing I would have wanted is better flowing water for a shower. Overall, a truly wonderful getaway for family or friends!!!

ATV Trip
This house is very cute and well laid out. You have use of the garage which was nice to be able to put our ATVs in at night. If you are going on a holiday weekend the internet is very weak but can definitely get on in the early morning or later at night, if you need to stay connected to work this might not be a good option, but I do believe it is only on holiday weekends. Communication with the owners was good. This is a nice place to stay.

Beautiful place with a great setup. Loved the log cabin look and feel. We stayed a weekend for ATV riding and wished we could stay longer. Even though not on a lake, many lakes were just steps away. Perfect in every way! Can’t wait to visit again!

A charming getaway cabin
We visited the cabin by Deerbrook for 2 nights, 2 adults with 2 kids. It was really great - very clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable, and all of us enjoyed 2 days of relaxation in a beautiful area.

Perfect northern getaway
What a great property and great location. Exactly what I would love to own myself some day. A beautiful cabin with ample room and a lovely outdoor fire ring. The I door has stove/fireplace was not working which was a slight bummer but we enjoyed the outside fire and everything else. We will be back again!
