Dennes Point is at the northern end of Bruny Island offering peace and quiet away from the main tourist routes further south, just twenty five minutes from the ferry terminal. The house orientates to the west offering stunning sunsets on the deck and is a short walk to the waters edge.

Less than expected
While clean, there is no hot tub - this was the reason we picked the property to rent - and chopping firewood in the rain wasn't our idea of a great way to begin our stay. The key is in a precarious position, it's very easy to drop both key and lock-box front down a steep slope so be careful. There is no storage for clothes except a small hanging rack, Netflix is there but the connection requires a phone call with the owner to initiate it, and we needed to have separate water for drinking. The place looks great, wonderful to photograph, but the furniture isn't not comfortable to sit or sleep on. We loved visiting the island, but wouldn't stay here again.

Wildlife galore.
We had kangaroos hopping by, and a big beautiful echidna come visiting who stayed around for hours at a time, heaps of birds, gorgeous sunsets great place to base our 2 day stay.

Everything you could want.
We loved our stay here . The house was cozy and clean with the most comfortable beds . The view of the water was lovely and the wood fire a treat . The house had all the comforts of home . Pet friendly and all on one level.
Very comfortable and well equiped property with great quirky decor. The property was perfect for my mother-in-law who has mobility issues as it was all on one level. She was able to walk easily from the car onto the deck, through the house and out to the covered verandah with water views. The fact the property allowed a pet (dog) was the clincher. We also enjoyed the outdoor shower and proper coffee machine, particularly as the local cafe was closed. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful summer stay
We stayed at this property in July of last year and loved it. Our kids were keen to return in summer to swim at the beautiful Dennes Point beaches and we weren't disappointed. We enjoyed the amazing deck for a bbq, reading in the hammock, and watching the stunning sunsets. Thanks so much for a lovely summer break - we'll definitely be back!

Stylish place and great location
Beautiful views, huge balcony to entertain. The kitchen was very well appointed even with decent knives that actually worked! The beds were extremely comfortable as was the large lounge. Very stylish fire place that we enjoyed lighting up one night. Although pet friendly, we decided not to let the pooch out as the fence on the side of one of the neighbours wasn't there but the property was so near the beach anyway. A very enjoyable stay.

Lovely self contained accommodation for exploring Bruny
We stayed for a couple of nights and it was the perfect accommodation for our family. Great styling and picturesque view (if you look over the trailer/cars in yard, which is easy 🤣), had everything we needed and then some :) We didn’t see any accommodation guide or info at the house so perhaps that can be improved on - instructions for how to work things, where bins are, spare sheets etc and also things like where the fuse box is. Power went out at about 3.30am one night and it took us a while to locate it in the dark/cold. Thanks for an easy, low key stay

Comfortable home with good view
Good feel home with all the comforts that we were looking for. Neighbour greeted us with half a dozen free range eggs. Lots of wild life all around with plenty of bird life to look at with binoculars. Good fishing spot within walking distance. Caught plenty of squid.

Lovely, clean and comfortable property. Silke answered all of our questions with efficiency. The pantry was well stocked, as was the fridge. Dennes Point is a bit out of the way, however if you want a nice relaxing stay away from it all, with a beautiful beach walking distance this is perfect.
