Could definitely improve in their service
I actually thought that the hotel wasn’t bad at all. Pretty clean, friendly, bar/restaurant, and pool. It has a hot tub, but that wasn’t working.
I do wish that this hotel made it more aware that they were going through renovations, but maybe that is Hotels.com’s fault.
Unfortunately, we were trying to get a hotel with a pool and hot tub that was close to where our soccer tournament was, but wasn’t told of the hot tub being out of service.
We did get an email from the hotel saying that floors 4-6 were going through renovation but that gave us little time to book another hotel and when I looked at other options, the prices had rose significantly.
The primary issue that I had was after this stay, when I left clothes in the drawer in the room. I understand that my error caused this issue, but when I called less than 12 hours later, I spoke to a nice person who took my info and said she would check with housekeeping and call me back.
4 hours goes by and I haven’t been contacted so I try again. I speak to the same person and she apologized that she didn’t have an answer yet. She then asks for my name and contact info again. When I questioned that they should already have it, they apologized and I provided it again and was told I’d get a call back.
6 hours later I still hadn’t received a call and had to call again only to be told that the prior person had left. I spoke to the manager, who was nice, but no luck on my clothes.
