We were booked at a different hotel and when we got there we found out the hotel was in a horrible condition that we had to leave right away. Thankfully Hyatt Place had few available rooms. We were able to book the room and check in within less than 30 minutes. They were nice, welcoming, and made our stay comfortable. We weren't able to park in the garage for one night, and they took off the charge for that day. Thank you for everything!

Cold showers!
There was no hot water in the sink or shower. There was a dirty towel from the previous guest hanging on the back of the bathroom door and there was no bedding for the pull out sofa.
Our room was very dirty. Shower had a thick layer of dirt and there was some mold. The room was dusty and looked like it had not been cleaned for several months. The only positive about the hotel was the young lady that checked us in.
Hotel was clean and fairly quiet considering the downtown location. Given the location however, it would have been nice for breakfast service to start earlier than 6:30. When business travelers have 7 AM meetings, as many of us do, 6:30 AM for a service start does not give us enough time to eat and make it into the office.
I have to say that EVERYONE was so darn nice! I liked my stay so much that I booked a second day! Thank you Safari for being so kind and welcoming when I checked in and thank you to the very kind desk clerk that made sure I was booked the second day (it was about 630 in the morning on Wednesday). I forgot to get her name but she was so nice and got me all set up in the same room for another night!
This hotel is old and dirty. The pictures of the property online are misleading. My first room had no hot water and there was a moldy bath mat in the shower. I was switched to a slightly better room, but it wasn’t great. The room had dingy window curtains and duvet, nasty looking toilet & shower, and scuffed up furniture. Do not stay here.
