I loved the decor on the property. It was like a northern Minnesota lodge and it was awesome! The staff was very accommodating when I checked in. I had my 85 year old mom with me and they quickly found me a different room near the lobby that was handicap accessible. The pool area was very nice with an indoor/outdoor pool and a nice hot tub in the corner separated from the main pool area.

For the money, it’s a great stay. It is an older property, so manage expectations. But the staff and service couldn’t have been better! Also, do not rely on the complimentary breakfast, as it was pretty disappointing. The bartender on Friday and Saturday was great. She made a delicious lemon drop! Would definitely stay here again.

The evening lady at the counter was awesome! Bartenders were awesome. The facility design and layout is so cool. We stayed in the lower level with the pool and there was a moist odor but down from the pool you'll have that . Overall this place is great.

Such a comfortable and welcoming hotel! The staff was friendly and helpful- giving us recommendations on food and information on the local event we were attending. Everyone was laid back and extremely accommodating. Room was clean and cozy and well appointed. And the pool! Really big for a hotel pool, in a large room with many places to sit. Fireplace looked nice (it’s summer so it’s not in use). Plus the pool is indoor/outdoor- such a fun novelty! Everything was great. Wish they would open one in Michigan!

Little out of the way but that's how we like it!
Room was clean, service was great. We showed up pretty late and the young lady woking the front desk helped us out immensely I needed towls, a comforter and pillow for the pull-out couch and I think she ran to get them! People will think it's dated but its just the theme of the hotel. My family enjoyed it room, pool, and breakfast!

Was like stepping back in time -- reminded me of staying in Super 8s as a kid. Dated decor and an itty bitty TV wayyyyyyy in the far corner away from the bed. It was frankly comical.

Super happy with out stay here. Our room was beautiful, loved the decor and whirlpool tub. It was also nice and big. The pool area was awesome and I always love an indoor/outdoor pool. Really nice hot tub that felt great after walking around the fair all day. And last but not least the free breakfast was really good. I like the options . The fresh made pancakes and biscuits & gravy were nice change from the normal fare you get at a hotel. We are already thinking about planning a getaway just come back and enjoy the hotel more!
